I just realized I hadn't posted here in a while. Here's the last column I filed for Poynter in 2016. I think the need for increased collaboration in #journalism will continue for the foreseeable future.

There's a lot continuing to change in #journalism. It may be time to find out what emerging and future leaders in the field want to do to help it evolve and transform in the 21st century.

We still have questions, though a few were answered by +Hillary Clinton during her appearance at #NABJNAHJ16  today. What other questions might you have for her? We're going to update this piece for +The Poynter Institute

Alabama Power received schematic design approval of plans for the park and plaza surrounding its Powell Avenue Steam Plant from Birmingham’s Design Review Committee on Wednesday morning, allowing for permits to be secured and work to begin. Also, since it's been a while since I've been on here, I've done a couple of appearances on podcasts. The most recent one was yesterday, as part of a new series being done at Samford University. I talked about yesterday's New York Times's interactive about post-Katrina New Orleans.

Check it out, share it if you like it, and let me know of any names of folks who may be interested in being a guest as well. #journalism

I've had some thoughts on this whole livestreaming app battle since the murmurs started. I'm still trying to figure out a good way to use Hangouts, but it's possible to do similar stuff while leveraging the YouTube search platform. Let me know what you think: #Meerkat   #Periscope
