Julie Garran
A photo every day
Yesterday afternoon I hung (with the very much appreciated help of friends) a selection of my photographs at  Abell’s Kopi Tiam, Furneaux St. in Manuka.
Here is another chance to see the work displayed, a very different experience from seeing the images on social media.
This is a selection of photographs from my exhibition at PhotoAccess Huw Davies Gallery in October and November 2014.
I began the project on 28 February, when I began posting a photo every day on my social media sites: Facebook, Instagram and Google +.
The PhotoAccess exhibition, A photo every day, showed every one of those photos, in the order they were posted. This is a selection of 128 photos from the original 250.
Since I started, no matter where I am, I post a photograph. The images may be of things I’ve seen or done that day. They may have been posted within a short time of being taken; or they may be an image from the past. They reflect where I am, what I’m feeling or what I am doing.
You can see all the photos from A photo every day on Instagram, search for juelles810,

Last day of the Black and White Photography Challenge, for which I am posting a B&W image a day for five days, at the invitation of +Vincent Dirckx.  (Seventh day, fifth photo - it has been quite a learning curve!) Thanks again for the challenge, Vincent, this project was just what I needed right now. And thank you, +Mike Alexander , for inspiring me to try this subject in black and white.
