Back in January,
When I saw the picture on the right I said to myself that can't be me. Over the past few years I had eaten myself into a pale version of my former self. At that time I decided to get my old self back. One of the things I had to do was take control of my calorie intake. I also decided to eat lean meats and vegetables only. No more cookies, cakes, cokes and fatty foods. I went one step further and worked out three days a week which sped up the process.
I am now 33 pounds lighter and back in a size 6 and some 4's. I have more energy and I feel so much better.
I am also using Ancient Egyptian Bath and Body Sugar Scrub to help smooth out any fat left on my thighs. The Sugar Scrub stimulates the blood flow in my legs and helps with cellulite removal

Longer Hair with Apple Cider Vinegar?

During my non-working time, I spend my time researching natural ingredient for the skin and hair. I came across an article that talked about using apple cider vinegar on your hair. I thought that sounded it a little strange because I cook with apple cider vinegar.
I’m always up for a challenge and I never recommend anything that I haven’t tried.
I went out and bought a fresh bottle of apple cider vinegar and I went into our lab and took a bottle of pure vanilla extract.  In a bowl I mixed up 16 ounces of apple cider vinegar and 2 ounces of vanilla extract. I washed my hair and then applied the concoction to my clean wet hair. I covered my hair with a shower cap for 20 minutes to let everything soak in. After 20 minutes I rinsed my hair and it was so soft to the touch and my scalp felt squeaky clean. I dried my hair and styled as usual.
About a week later I was washing my hair and noticed there was new growth at my scalp. I am an African American woman with relaxed hair, so it very easy to see when new hair is growing from my scalp. It’s easy to see because the new hair isn’t straight due to it not being processed. The next week when I washed my hair I noticed the same thing. At the end of three weeks I had almost 3 inches of newly grown hair.
The only thing I did differently during this time was use the apple cider vinegar, so I can only credit the apple cider vinegar for the results.
The apple cider vinegar worked so well I intend to add it to the product line when we introduce shampoo in 2017.

I received a cool email today. A customer bought a gift set 3 years ago. She used the body butter but never opened the sugar scrub. Finally she decided to open the sugar scrub today and she was amazed that the scrub was still good. She said it was a little dry at first but when dampened her skin at started using it, it was great!  This is probably the oldest scrub to date. The scrubs are engineered to have a shelf life of 24 months because they are made with fresh products.

Some tips for beautifully shaved legs:
You don't want to shave dry skin. To avoid nicks and cuts, wet your skin and let it soften from the heat and moisture. Shaving is a natural exfoliator and if you try to dry shave, you run the risk of clogging up the razor with dead skin while putting yourself at risk for nicks and razor burn. I recommend soaking in a hot tub to open up the pores on your legs to help get a closer shave.
Exfoliate Before Shaving;
Be sure to exfoliate your skin before shaving. It gets rid of all the dead skin cells that could clog up your razor, preventing a close shave. I recommend using our Sugar Body Scrub for this process.
Shaving Cream:
Use a shaving cream that is enriched with vitamins and natural ingredients. I recommend using our Goat Milk Shaving Elixir for Men and Women. Goat's milk contains vitamins: A, B, C, & D. It is particularly high in vitamin A which is required to repair damaged skin tissue. Goats Milk also contains Calcium, potassium, magnesium, and selenium is also found in goat's milk. Selenium also aids in preventing skin damage caused from sun exposure. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way.
Moisturize:
Make sure you use a heavy moisturizer after your shave to promote health skin and a smooth appearance. I recommend our Body Butter which is rich in vitamins and plant oils.
