As someone who own Solidoodle 2, I can assure you that auto-leveling is an amazing feature. Leveling bed for any printer is painfully tedious and even then it's hard to do it perfectly. I could never understand why printer manufacturers sometimes choose to mount and adjust bed with only 3 screws (like Solidoodle 2 has). While in theory 3 screws should be enough, in practice, having a 4 screw mount would allow for greater flexibility and ease of adjustment.
In any case, auto-leveling is a godsend.

Most people don't even know what sysadmins do, but trust me, if they all took a lunch break at the same time they wouldn't make it to the deli before you ran out of bullets protecting your canned goods from roving bands of mutants.
Every friend I have with a job that involves picking up something heavier than a laptop more than twice a week eventually finds a way to slip something like this into conversation: "Bro,1 you don't work hard. I just worked a 4700-hour week digging a tunnel under Mordor with a screwdriver." ...

John Halamka: "I believe the ability to access and confirm clinical information at the bedside is one of the strongest features of Google Glass"
Over the past few months, Beth Israel Deaconess has been the pilot site for a new approach to clinical information technology, wearable computing. In the Emergency Department, we've developed a prototype of a new information system using Google Glass, a high tech pair of glasses that includes a ...

Not sure why Google decided to add snow to this photo taken in Burbank, CA. Maybe cause it's a bit hazy.. Or maybe it thinks I'm still at Boston, where we lost count of this winter snow storms..

Yeah =) that would do it.. But I've damaged lens glass, so that added to the haziness. I believe, if I shake it, I'd have to explicitly save it..

3rd Annual Disabled and Limbless Veterans Motorcycle Run 2014 was a great success. We thank every one who joined and supported us, all the bikers/riders and their generosity, all the vendors and their help in making the event great, all the volunteers for doing the grunt work and American Legion Post 273 for hosting the event 3rd year in a row.

Team is poorly coordinated, slow. Ordered a cappuccino, got barely a late.. Way too hot / over proper temperature - burned myself.

I this this is a new business.. No car dealership there. As far as truck rental goes, had no problems. Guys at the counter are friendly and easy to deal with.

Colonial Volkswagen on rt9 in Westborough has an excellent Service Department. I've serviced my 2008 R32 at Colonial since 2011 and consistently received a fantastic quality of service, and I don't just mean the technical aspect of it. Conveniently, with their shuttle service, I can always drop off my car in the morning before work and pick it up as I leave the office. Saturday, few weeks ago, I was on my way from Boston to Natick, my xenon light went out that morning, so I've called the nearest dealership - Wellesley VW, a girl, who picked up a phone, said that the Service Deparment is swamped and the soonest they can take care of my xenon light replacement is Tuesday. I've asked to talk to actual someone in service, perhaps they could squeeze me in, since it's just a light, and I really not supposed to drive around with non-working light - state troopers / local police will be all over me (though, I might get a warning, it's not proper to have a headlight out). She insisted that I could drop my car off or two it in (wtf?) and have it done on Tuesday. No help there.. So, I've called Colonial VW. One of the techs picked up a phone when I got transferred to Service. I've explained the situation and he said to come on by, they would take care of me. Upon arrival, Billy took care of paperwork and in it was ready in 30 minutes, as always brilliantly; and, as always, my R32 got returned to me hand washed. I've picked up a scratch somewhere.. Steve Tucker (service manager) took a look at it and offered to buff it out, and even give whole car a rinse. While I was waiting for that light replacement, I test-drove the new 2013 Golf R, and ended up purchasing it next week. Sales dragged their feet with registration and state inspection, even though I've picked the car up Monday, it got registered only by Friday evening. This Saturday, I've stopped by for an inspection and to pick up my registration, Walter took me in on "0 notice" (I just showed up) and got my registration from the offices upstairs, got one of techs to inspect it and returned it to me, as always, hand washed. All within 25 minutes. Now that's Service! I highly recommend this dealership's Service Department, the level of care and professionalism is, as it should be, simply excellent.

Gross and overly priced. Swiss cheese with nutmeg was discussing. Most cheap bread, cups of grocery store broccoli and unripe green apple. Any restaurant brings your better bread before meal is served. Meat, feels low quality, cooked in signature broth looked purple and tasted bland, making you hope included sauces will save it. I get better meat at Stop & Shop. Salads (tried Caesar and House) were the best of the evening.. Glazed croutons added a nice crunch. Waiter was nice and, considering the quality of food, overly enthusiastic. Kinda felt bad for him. Hope they pay him more than usual few bucks an hour plus tip, since a meal for 2 with a single during per person ended up costing over $100. This was a worst restaurant experience in a long while. Never though you can screw up melted cheese.. If you are planning to go out for a special evening, go elsewhere.. Actually, go elsewhere regardless of the occasion. Visit Chinese Mirch, Tenichi, Minado, BBC, Paparazzi, CPK, Cheesecake Factory, Bertuccis, prettyuch any other restaurant in the area and you'll enjoy your meals.

I've purchased a Prius for my mother, with full payment with personal check on 28th of this very November 2012. Asked to pickup the car on Friday, December 14 right before my birthday weekend. I've called yesterday (12/13) to make sure everything is ready for Friday, but was forwarded to voicemail. Finance person was not in and my car salesman Mr. John Bohr evidently occupied. Message left at 7pm. No call today all day. Called around that time today, after few attempts managed to get to sales manager. He promptly promised to call back within few minutes ("unlike some", he said) and that's it. Now dealership is closed for the night, phone unanswered.. I'm going to try to figure out tomorrow whether my mom's present will be ready by Friday noon. I don't know what is it; maybe everything is fine and the are just terribly forgetful bunch of people, all with daily stress and personal lives, like we all are. But this simple communication snafu is not what gets you good service/quality/appeal badge. It appears, that the all three are pretty much sucking for me right now. Signed @ 9:06pm 12/13/2012. Pickup day UPDATE (Friday, 12/14): Ok, so the car was ready.. except, I've noticed that it has an extra 60 miles on the odometer. Which made me wonder if it's been used for test drive after I've signed all the paperwork committing to purchase. I've talked to a General Manager and he assured me that extra 60 miles on the odometer is only due to extras installed (heated seats, backup camera), even though my sales guy assured me that installation people come to the dealership. I guess, it makes sense. Also, backup camera view has no colored lines, indicating distance to the bumper, which are highly desirable and leaves the guesswork out. After I got the new Prius to my place, I've noticed the scratches and scuff marks around the newly installed heated seats buttons and ignition switch. Something like this should've been noticed and addressed before delivery of brand new vehicle! Resolution: All well that ends well. Overall my experience with Acton Toyota was not too bad. John even let me have one of those large bows. Though, they could improve on communication and better knowledge of accessories and add-on equipment, setting proper expectations and actually doing a pre-delivery inspection. UPDATE: I've communicated with GM about the scratches, and he had a Sales Manager take care of it. They had the installers pick up a car from my mom's house in the morning and return it in the afternoon with scratches fixed. Acton even sent me a $100 VISA card as a compensation for this unfortunate experience with damaged interior. Special thanks to GM of Acton Toyota of Littleton!
