A Tutorial on Binary Numbers

Computers understand numbers and logic, as most are digital computers. The Binary Hexadecimal System is the way the numbers or logical commands are instructed to the computer.

All input devices or sensors must finally talk this language to the CPU, and all outputs and actuators must be able to understand this numbers to do their job. A bimetallic thermostat is like a simple mechanical computer........

I just got a letter from a US firm enquiringly about my transmitters. It read something like ...

".....Mini RTD Pt100 Three Wire Transmitter is commercially available? We may be interested in both the 100 ohm RTD input as well as the 1K ohm RTD input types"

Long ago, i was making and supplying some hybrid electronics to some firms. The soldering and handling required some tools and custom jigs which were designed. As the product was mass produced, some tools for managing and working on Tiny PCB's and parts were not available in the market.

So a affordable solution was created, the jigs were supplemented by surgical tools. These are the Clips and Tweezers that a doctor uses when he conducts an operation.

(old post and idea of mine)

I could find that many HandHeld Computers are Difficult to use and the User Experience is a bit like wearing Shoes two Sizes Smaller. So i thought i make a Feedback about how small a computer could be without any Compromise from the Present PC OS or Program Base. So we can use the same things we have on the Home PC. That lead to a Open Concept Design which is Quite Possible,

Digital Seven Segment Clock Simulation

This Gadget is to Inspire you or remind you of the traditional Digital Clock. The javascript is as close as possible to a c program that you could write for a PIC processor, So then try and make a gadget which is 3D, using PIC or 8051. S

Talking Machine

"I was always afraid of things that worked the first time," declared an astonished Thomas Edison after hearing his voice reproduced by his own 1877 phonograph. Editors at Scientific American, among the first to hear the inventor's latest creation, were equally startled. "The machine began by politely inquiring as to our health, asked how we liked the phonograph, informed us that it was very well, and bid us a cordial good night."

Introduction
dapj - Digital Analog Power Junction - is just another section of delabs.

delabs maintains an Electronics Circuits Archive with some Technical Documents, many of these circuits were designed or developed by me.

My Electronics Learning started at my home before my education as a Hobby Hound.

You can learn about practical electronics from my blogs here Schematics of delabs and Solderman's Basic Electronics.

I need Advertising Support from Engineering and Electronic Companies to keep my Show Going. My Websites and Blogs are a Valuable Reference resource for Engineers and EE Enthusiasts worldwide.

Your Support in the form of Investments, Donations or Ads can make delabs a full fledged Product Design and Engineering Firm. Which still remains a dream.

The Engineer part of me is +AnanthaNarayan. Electronic Product Design Engineer in Industrial Automation and Test-Measurement.
