Hi All. I'm curious about which platforms, tools and products other community managers and strategists find indispensable when tasked with setting up or managing an online community. In other words, if a client (or boss) brings you in and says "We need 'Community'"! What do you do? Where do you start? What does that even mean to you? My head has been "in" Get Satisfaction for so long that I'm honestly curious what's valued by my colleagues in this field! Thanks for sharing any thoughts!

Hello All. Thanks for inviting me. I'm a co-founder of Get Satisfaction. My focus there has been on Community education, evangelism & training. Most recently, however, I've been on a sabbatical living in NYC for the Fall with my family, exploring the city and hanging out with my kids. Heading back to SF next week and getting back into the work groove in January.
