A roadmap for corporate social responsibility

“No great thing is created suddenly.” It’s as true today in San Francisco as it was in first-century Greece (hat tip to Epictetus). In fact, it’s the principle behind the development of our community programs at Zendesk.

[New guest blog] The Red Team for Content Marketers

I don't know about you, but I love HBO's show, The Newsroom. So much so that I think about things they did on the show and how they relate to my life as a content marketer. Obsessed? Maybe.

What do you think of my approach to double checking content?
#contentmarketing   #contentstrategy   via +Orbit Media Studios
We all have our own way of double-checking our work. UX designers have the “mom test”, bakers have the “hey, taste this,” scientists have their methods to double check and recheck their hypothesis, but as content marketers, what's ours?

Very tiny rooms, but a great location! If you are looking for a niche hotel to rock the night away, so here. If you are looking to take a shower where you can wash your hair without doing yoga, go somewhere else.

Great vintage and even darn I say it hipster cocktails. This downstairs bar is very dimly lit, a great place to meet friends when you look like ...well you know. My only complaint is they don't serve food. Zero, zilch, nodda...so eat before becase they make VERY strong drinks.

There's a problem with tapas here—they are so tasty and small portions that you can order one of each! Or if you are like me, you order 4 of the bacon wrapped dates. Great food! Wonderful back patio! And, even a better wine selection. What's not to love?

Great local beers on tap. They even have a mini-golf course inside the bar. Tons of fun! Grab a beer and play a couple of holes.

My Mother and I stayed here for two nights. Loved it! The inn keepers are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home and that you have everything you need to have a blast in Healdsburg. The rooms are fabulous too. The beds are super comfy and soft. (Now only if my Mother didn't snore so loudly, I would've slept like a baby.)

Yummy brunch! It's a great spot to hang out with a bunch of hot boys, never having to worry about being hit on. Ahh..the Castro, why I love you so much. Good food and great buns!

Went camping here for the weekend. The camp grounds are well laid out - not really on top of each other. Plus, each one has a variety of views, close to running water and the bathrooms. It was HOT while we were there, but the lake is cold and there's plenty of natural shade.
