This is a great presentation on giving presentations.  This is the second one I've seen from him and they are both well done.  Anyone who makes presentations should review these and incorporate some of what you like into your own work.  Brilliant

PS - I've been wanting to share this with you, but didn't get a chance to at the conference. Take a look at page 59 (specifically think about the tools and how they enable things to happen via a platform) on Amazon, http://books.google.com/books?id=aSXdz_-aFqYC&pg=PA58&lpg=PA58&dq=making+diagrams+work+together+slide&source=bl&ots=4XWpb_Mvri&sig=VHDPnBbNpM-vU-MMa7rXUv2hfZc&hl=en&sa=X&ei=lg1MU6vKMIOqyAHcqIC4Bg&ved=0CEEQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=making%20diagrams%20work%20together%20slide&f=false.  Sometimes I think a diagram that shows relationships like this might be helpful for conveying what eXt brings to our stakeholders (with customized changes needed of course).

It's FRIDAY!  Looking for something to do?  Please take a moment to fill out the #nexconf  survey about your experiences there.  The more we know, the better we can make things.  Good, bad, ugly, +Sarah Baughman is happy to have all the feedback you can give.  https://vte.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_9SLKchJygMMWHhX&q_sm

+Anne Adrian was teaching a graduate lecture on what a 21st Century worker in Cooperative Extension might look like, or the skillset they might need to be successful.  She put together this slideset which contains a ton of information to think about.  It really asks the question about are we prepared to be CES today, and what type of people with what type of skillset will be great for our agency.

I looked at this and asked myself what areas can I improve on?

+Beth Kanter  - Thanks for the recap of what we learned at #NexConf!  The best part is you were there WITH us as a speaker and trainer and STILL came away with a message.  Learned so much from you that week that I took home and put into practice right away - especially the Ask Why 3 times.

The State reports are available from eXtension.  They really highlight all the good work people are doing.  The one for Texas for 2013 is http://create.extension.org/sites/default/files/Texas%20v6%20press.pdf

Looks like we have a good amount of experts working hard I see that +Andrew Crocker  and +Daphne Richards are rocking to top of the charts!  WTG

I love the GO TEXAN app which connects people to local Texas products.  I think we need a GO AGRILFE app that connects people to our programs.  Of course that's not easy to do, we'd have to have a pretty big effort to synchronize events.  It could happen, but how?  The concept is still really neat to look at and watch and think about.  In years past, we've tried uniform calendars, but to no avail.  Do you have any ideas on how this could happen with some tools you have come across?
