I'm keeping the internet (need those sweet sweet internetz), but other than the 'net I'm done with cable TV.
My antenna and Roku more than do the trick... there's too much stuff to watch as it is just on OTA tv, why do I need more channels?
It's like at my mom's house now... she has an antenna and internet. And phone (which my mobile functions as) but still.
My bullet journal again.
I’ve been busy lately.
I’ve tried to plan my tasks for the next day every night. That’s the goal… prep for the next day so I know what I want to do and what I have to do. It’s to provide a way for me to get all of the stuff that floats around in my head out onto paper so I can relax after work.
It’s been good for me. I’ve found that I’m sleeping better and feeling better. All around, a good idea.
Productivity ahoy! I don’t have school work or whatever (and I missed out on having to work on Saturday woohoo) but that doesn’t mean I can lay around and be all lazy.
I got up and around (about 8 am; I woke up at 6:30) and got my shopping bags together. I’d already done coupons/mperks/list last night, so I didn’t have to do that.
I stopped by Tim Horton’s for breakfast (because shopping on an empty stomach is the worst idea ever) and then went to Meijer and got my grocery shopping done.
I came home, took care of everything, and then got my ass together and unfucked my apartment. Granted it wasn’t too bad, but I wanted to clean before it got super bad. So, I did all the usual vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and scrubbing. I’m now done with that (thank god) and I have everything put back.
I went and got some lunch at Mr. Pita (and they’re going to be closed on Saturdays starting next week boooooo), came home and ate.
I then got my stuff together to do my laundry.
While I did my laundry I watched the Hamburg-Stuttgart game on Fox. It came in really clearly on my antenna so I can get rid of the TV part of my cable subscription. Hopefully I’ll be saving something like $40 a month. And I’ll get more stations so that’s good. I’ll only be losing CBC and TVO and the Flint PBS station, but I can get a lot of the shows on those stations on my Roku.
I’ve been busy today and I’m hoping to get a newsletter around this afternoon. Not sure what I’m going to do for dinner yet but I’m glad I’m done with most all of my work.
I need to iron my shirts and organize my desk, but that will be done tomorrow. I’m done with UFYH today I think.
I’m also not being productive tonight.
I was plenty at work today… Learned how to do some stuff in Sharepoint and got a bunch of things done. I’ve been enjoying my special project at work. I need to talk to my boss about where my time should go for this project. Also my other projects because I’m not sure how to set up my time.
Here’s my desk with some of my hobbies spread out. You’ll see my NEW iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro w/isub G tank on it, some Joosey Fruit eliquid, and my uke. I’ve been getting back in the swing of uke stuff lately.
You can’t be productive all the time, I guess. I’m glad I have some time tonight to chill.
Pebble Time Round.
This is letting me set notifications to silent on my phone and just get them on my wrist.
What a cool device.
I've been able to ignore my phone today and bust through my to do list.
Also, this tells me to get my ass up and walk around and drink water, which are two of my goals for this year, so that helps a lot.
And it's really light. I'm surprised at that.
Longer review on my blog later!
