Happening today if interested:
2 year ago, Georgia's, +Henry County Schools —a 42,000 student district— decided to go 1:1 with #Chromebooks for grades 3-12 as part of the district’s personalized learning plan, successfully deploying 36,000 devices IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS. They are sharing, in collaboration with +Neverware, how the district was able to do it in a webinar later today.

Given the quality of Google products and the fact that many of them are free, there is no surprise that they dominate the U.S. EdTech market. Google is an excellent option for cash-strapped districts and we agree with these six reasons that support that statement. https://bit.ly/2KUxtIZ
As a side-note, Google is still offering the Chromebook refresh promotion; be sure your district takes advantage of it if it’s purchasing Chromebooks before the end of June. Details: https://bit.ly/2GC2LRQ

Amplified IT would like to highlight one of our Google for Education schools for their success and recognition by Google as a Reference District! Roxbury Public School in Succasunna, New Jersey was an early Google for Education (GFE) adopter and we are glad to see the positive impact that our GFE training and services continue to provide for many districts just like them.
“With the implementation of our 1-to-1 Chromebook program and our use of the G Suite tools, we have seen tremendous growth in the integration of technology within the classroom.” #EdTech #Chromebooks #GSuite #GoogleForEDU #GFEReference https://bit.ly/2ER1vJc

Some great tips for IT administrators on deploying and maintaining #Google Chromebooks. We definitely stand behind Securly in tip #4, one of our 3rd party partners, for allowing schools to filter traffic on student Chromebooks whether they are on or off of school property.
