The Austin Museum of Digital Art (AMODA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting access to and appreciation of digital art. Currently AMODA is a nomadic institution, holding exhibitions, performances, screenings, and other events at various locations around Austin, TX. Ultimately, our goal is to establish a permanent venue for digital art in Austin, to serve as a community center for art presentation, music performance, outreach, and education.
Past AMODA events have featured musicians such as Matthew Dear, DAT Politics, Smash TV, Deadbeat, Xiu Xiu, Max Tundra, Drop the Lime, Mum, Richard Devine, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Ghislain Poirier, Lusine, Richard Chartier, Treewave, Phill Niblock, and Murcof.
Past AMODA visual artists have included Golan Levin, Takagi Masakatsu, Pleix, Scott Pagano, Lia, PaperRad, Yoshi Sodeoka, Sue Costabile, Robert Hodgin, Sue de Beer, Jared Tarbell, Chiaki, Hana Hillerova, Ben Aqua, Casey Reas, Ryoichi Kurokawa, Bill Hundley, Delaware, Ryan Junell, and Mumbleboy.
