The number one cause of death in 17 U.S. states is prescription drug abuse, surpassing motor vehicle accidents (CDC).  Americans, constituting only 4.6% of the world’s population, have been consuming 80% of the global opioid supply, and 99% of the global hydrocodone (Vicodine/Norco) supply, as well as two- thirds of the world’s illegal drugs (Pain Physician 2010).  It is time interventional physicians take control of pain management in this country.

We are proud to introduce Coolief Procedure to our Long Island patients suffering through chronic hip and back pain.

Chronic knee osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common diseases of advanced age. With up to 20 million adults in the US suffering from OA of the knee,1 close to 700,000 cases progress to total knee joint replacement.

Surgery isn’t for everyone. That’s why we focus our efforts on trying to bring Coolief*, an effective, non-surgical option within reach of those suffering from chronic pain.

We are proud to announce introduction of Senza Spinal Cord Stimulator system to Long Island.  Chronic Pain affects millions of Americans.  Many of those have failed most traditional treatment options.  Spinal Cord Stimulator for long had been a life changing option for a handful of these patients.  Nevro has taken this treatment to new heights with introduction of Senza system..

An early clinical study performed in the United States allowed a set of patients to trial both traditional SCS and HF10 therapy. Following a trial period with each type of device, almost 9 of 10 patients (88%) preferred the Senza system.  We are proud to be the first handful of spine practices to introduce this system in Long Island.
