Yongnuo 35mm @f2. This is a Canon lens adapted with the commlite adapter which retains AF for most Canon lenses, with several caveats: 1) A7ii needs to be updated to firmware 2.0 (A7Rii already allows this stock), and the adapter only works on Canon lenses that are from 2006 or newer. Also, all adapters have problems focusing past 150mm except for certain lenses. 3rd party lenses are hit or miss, check Brian Smith's excellent adapter page to be sure.

For a $90 lens I am quite pleased. It focuses fairly well as long as it's not too dark. I had this on center focus and it snapped noisily in place quickly. Wide open it exhibits quite a bit of vignette and CA, but it will improve a lot by f4 or f5.6. It never gets super sharp like most lenses at f8, but I knew this. Aperture can be controlled normally, but it won't stop down until you press the shutter unless you bind 'DoF preview' to a button, I chose the center OK button. If there is a way to make it stop down automatically, let me know in a comment please. Aperture data and focal length will be saved in EXIF but your actual lens name won't be.

+Amish Crusader my other EF lenses work fine. I think it it the AF of the Yongnuo is not compatible as it is a screw drive. My Ultra Sonic Motor Canon lenses will auto focus. They are slow but they will auto focus. I still prefer to manual focus them.

I actually like using old Nikon primes as they are better sized than the modern Canon zoom lenses for the Sony bodies.

Minolta 50mm f1.4 wide open of course. We'll trade sharpness for wonderful bokeh here.
