We are so honored that Senator John Cornyn's staff members visited American YouthWorks to learn more about AmeriCorps' national service and our workforce development programs, Texas Conservation Corps and YouthBuild Austin. Thank you also to Liz Darling of the OneStar Foundation for joining this visit to talk about our Disaster Relief efforts in Texas.

We are so proud of David L. for taking a step closer to his dreams of being a software engineer. This June, David graduated from our Media Corps program and as Salutatorian from our partner, Travis High School. Thanks to his computer refurbishing experience with Media Corps, he was able to attain a paid internship with Trillium as a compressor technician intern. Congratulations on all that you have achieved David!

Our Help Clifford Help Kids event is November 8th at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. Your support helps students like David achieve their dreams. Tickets available http://buff.ly/2v65vEw!
