This place is a great place to come for a night or two. However, my friend and I had a mouse in our room and the staff did move us to another room but they weren't apologetic and didn't believe us. We weren't put in the best location because we were woken up at 5 am by people eating breakfast loudly. It is what it is for the price.

I regret your experience. This matter will definitely be reviewed for proper resolution.

Great place and quite a deal. Very friendly staff. It is a bit old on the outside but there is a nice bed, mini fridge, a pool, breakfast. Overall a nice place within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

It was a place to sleep and came with a decent breakfast. No more, no less. The air conditioner did not work very well all night but it was bearable. The cleanliness was not 100 percent but at least I did not come away with bed bug bites. Overall, a place to sleep and eat before you head out.

Wonderful and friendly staff however they do need a bit more customer training on how to help with issues that could arise when a manager or someone higher up is not available. I would still recommend. Comes with fridge, breakfast, and parking which is so hard to come by in Bethesda

I loved it. I stayed for one night, checked in very late and checked out later than 12noon as I overslept (the staff very kindly let me sleep in and let me leave later than 12noon). The room was very restful and very, very comfortable. The bed was a bit too soft, though, and the pillows not firm at all -- one of the few negatives. The TV was small but had a lot of channels. The shower was wonderful and seemed built for a shorter sized person like me so I could easily turn the knob to adjust the flow instead of having to strain to reach up. I didn't do the breakfast as I was sleeping but I heard it was great. The service was wonderful and the staff kind and helpful and very polite. The only minus is the parking situation as there aren't enough spaces for the guest. Thankfully, someone had just left before I arrived, so I was able to park in the hotel. But I feel that it would be a good idea for the hotel to give their guests a parking validation sticker so they can park for free even on weekdays in the public garage nearby. Anyway, all said and done, I recommend this hotel highly, and will stay here again... wonderful little hotel where the staff gives you personal attention and makes sure you are secure and safe at night.

The hotel is functional, and good for a few days. For the class of hotel, I am pleased with the time I've spent in American Inn of Bethesda. Complimentary breakfast is okay, and there are waffle irons available.

Great room, great price and great location. Only bad thing is the parking, there is very limited space. Also the walls and doors are paper thin, I was awakened many times by children and people laughing/running down the corridor. Other than that the rooms are very nice and cozy I would definitely stay here again.
Response from the owner - a month ago
Mr. Hernandez, Thank you for for you review. We look forward to having you again the next time you are in town.
