Are you new to Google+?
I've seen a lot of new faces in the past few months and it reminded me of my first few months on G+. I remember what it felt like when I first joined about four years ago. I had no idea how to see content from other G+ members. Google has fixed that problem and new users have lots of content to choose from. You may want to be a consumer of content and that's it. Great. There are many others like you.
Some of you may want to participate a bit more but don't know exactly how to do it. That is what I felt like four years ago. This is where I can give you a little help because I've been there. Just follow these three easy guidelines:1. Comment on posts that interest you.
Did you see something that you liked? Did you read something that you had a reaction to? Did you watch a video that inspired you? Yes? Well type something about your feelings, ideas, reactions as a comment on the post. Or read the other comments and reply to those.2. Post about things that interest you.
Thinking about something and want some feedback? Post about it. Is there something you know a lot about and like sharing that information? Post about it.3. Circle people.
Did you like a comment that someone made on a post? Circle that person. Do you like what a person is posting? Circle that person.
Basically, interact. Interact like you would at a party. If you don't talk to people, they won't talk back. People want to interact with you, not a meme so it's better if you do more than reshare posts. Be the original person that you are. Tell the world about you and what you know.
