Second Trimester Pregnancy Exercise: Can you do a renegade pushup to a row? This is great way to build that upper body strength while pregnant! Start by doing a pushup holding on to dumbbells. When you push back to the starting position, row up one arm.

First Trimester Pregnancy Exercise: Can you do a side plank with a leg lift? Start by placing your right arm under your shoulder and getting into a side plank position. Hold for 30 seconds. To make it harder, add a left leg lift.

My workout this morning? Not perfect...

My little guy was so cute this morning...I just couldn't resist the little toddler sweetness.

So why was my workout not perfect? My little guy kept running up to me and kissing my knees and legs while I was doing squats and lunges. Love him!

Many would say my workout wasn't worth it because I kept stopping and hugging that cuteness. You know what I say, Mama?

Anytime you workout, you are doing great things for your body. As moms, our kids are only little once. As I get ready to start my third trimester with this next little guy, I can't help but think about how fast the time has gone!

Pretty soon my son will be too big to give me all these hugs and kisses. Pretty soon I will no longer be the coolest person in the world. Pretty soon he will be all grown up. I want to cherish every single moment with him while he is little. I want to soak up every single hug; every single kiss. Pretty soon they will be memories.

So, my workout may not have met the standards that other fitness professionals would have you think you need to live up to, but I am a mother first!

Yes, I did workout. Yes, I did take quite a few little breaks to love on my little guy. Yes, I still will feel sore tomorrow. Yes, my workout was worth it.

It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Just get out there and keep that body moving :)
