The Ministry of Health for Bolivia has declared that as of March 2nd 2017 all passengers (regardless of citizenship) arriving and departing to/from any point of Bolivia, must now be vaccinated against yellow fever. Travelers will need show proof of immunization through a validated international vaccination certificate. This is a mandatory regulation and will be enforced, evidence of inoculation must be presented at border crossings.

I recently read an article in which travel agents were talking about sending clients to Cuba, but I think what they said could be applied to any country that has not had a lot of foreign investment in infrastructure yet. Some agents were encouraging clients to go there now, while it was still unique, before McDonalds and other multi-national chains opened up there. While another agent said to wait a few years, until they get a Hyatt and other luxury hotels there. What do you prefer - an authentic experience with local culture and infrastructure or "brand name" infrastructure that is recognized and well-known worldwide?
