This poses a content creation challenge. According to ACI every minute in 2014: Facebook users share nearly 2.5 million pieces of ...

I'm doing the roundup for We Teach Social again this week. It's packed with articles about visual content. So if your procrastinating already have a read :)
It's been a week of new apps. I've been addicted to both 'Periscope' the live streaming app from Twitter and Layout the photo montage app from Instagram. Have you tried them yet? I'd recommend them both, they are great fun but make sure you have some time to spare before you get started.

I've finally dabbled in LinkedIn publishing. Happy St. Patrick's day for tomorrow :)
Tomorrow is the day that the world goes Ireland crazy. Monuments around the world will go green, there will be parades, there will be silly leprechaun hats. But what can you do to tap in to this celebration? Here's seven ideas to help you celebrate Ireland's national day.1. Irish up your cover photosCover photos seem to get phenomenal reach on Facebook. Whenever I change mine I'm surprised at how much interaction they get. Yet it seems that Facebo...

I was on roundup duty this week and I got a bit ranty about content overload...  I blame +Chris Brogan
There's a bit of a theme to this week's social 7. I didn't notice until I started writing about the final link. Three of the articles below are about creating good content for your social media channels and blogs. The first one, a checklist is probably the most helpful.

Are you wasting all the connections you are making on LinkedIn?
What is LinkedIn for? We often hear of it referred to as an online CV but in reality it's far more than that. It's an effective sales tool that allows us to build and nurture leads.

Story
Tagline
I run a business helping small business use social media but more importantly I love cake and cats particularly the one that lives with me :)
Introduction
I run Spiderworking.com and am a certified social media addict. I also love cats and going cycling (or skycling) around Athy. My bike is old and rusty but I love it. My cat is neither old or rusty, her name is Chomsky and she's the love of my life.

I also like cake and cooking although don't do this as much as cycling or playing with Chomsky.

I live in Athy, Co. Kildare, Ireland and work from here too. I have the best view in the whole town but often forget to look at it.

I love reading books and music and movies and being silly.
