We believe there is at least one planet for every star in our galaxy. This could mean as many as 100 to 400 billion planets in our galaxy alone. It’s been 20 years since we found the first exoplanet around a Sun-like star. Today we’ll be sharing some more exciting news about recent exoplanet discoveries. Stay tuned today & learn more at http://go.nasa.gov/1MvF0Ku and http://go.nasa.gov/1MvF10I

"What's particularly exciting about our findings is that they suggest that a dietary intervention can increase the effectiveness of a targeted cancer therapy."
A diet that starves triple-negative breast cancer cells of an essential nutrient primes the cancer cells to be more easily killed by a targeted antibody treatment, UW Carbone Cancer Center scientists report in a recent publication.

A study showed that scientists can wirelessly determine the path a mouse walks with a press of a button. Researchers created a remote controlled, next-generation tissue implant that allows neuroscientists to inject drugs and shine lights on neurons deep inside the brains of mice. The revolutionary device is described online in the journal Cell. Its development was partially funded by the National Institutes of Health.
