EXPLORE SPACE
http://www.theeducatorsspinonit.com/2016/01/the-rockwell-adventures-solar-system.html#more

It's no secret that I like to keep my kids engaged and learning after school and that getting (and keeping) my daughter excited about math, science, engineering and technology is a BIG family priority.  When I first heard about this new learning adventure, I couldn't wait to try it.  Now that I have, I have nothing but GOOD THINGS TO SAY about it.  In fact, if you have any hopes or desires to add in a little space to your learning plans this year, I urge you to hop over and print out your copy of the Rockwell Adventures Solar System Expedition book RIGHT NOW!  (You can order it spiral bound delivered to your door too, but I couldn't wait that long!)

10 Tips for Getting Picky Eaters to Try New Foods
I'm on a mission to get my kids eating healthier and try new foods.  Thanks to Angel Soft® for sponsoring this conversation. Getting  picky eaters to try new foods is no easy task.

I add vegetables to smoothies.
I bake muffins with veggies.

But, it's not enough.   We still struggle every day to maintain the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables.

Thankfully, I've got a great group of mom friends who were willing to share their take on getting picky eaters to try new foods.

Introduction
I am a book loving, hands in the dirt kind of mom. My kids are 1, 4, and 7 years old. At our house, we cook, we garden, we read, we craft, and we even speak Russian (well, sometimes - it is a beautiful, but difficult language!) My passion is educating children and supporting other parents. Blogging at The Educators' Spin On It, I hope to inspire readers to make everyday moments learning opportunities.

I am also a children's book writer with multiple completed manuscripts, looking for a home with the right publishing company.

Available for freelance writing.

G+ circles to add me to: mom bloggers, writers/writing/authors, gardening/urban farming, parenting, preschool teachers, early childhood educators, play based learning, awesome teachers.
