I consult small business owners, write about small business topics, bring entrepreneurs together, and speak to groups about starting, managing and growing small businesses. I have a passion for creating opportunities for collaboration and sharing knowledge; that is a common thread in all of the work that I do.
In 2011, I created an online community for entrepreneurs, the Small Business Bonfire, that provides an environment for entrepreneurs in all stages of development to network, make connections, learn from their peers and embrace new ideas.
My "in-the-trenches" small business journey started in 1999 and continues today through avertua, a business I created to provide small business owners with all-around support and business consulting to make their lives easier and their businesses more productive.
