These photos are gorgeous. Of course, we assume that all pigments are non-toxic and cleaned up from the environment immediately. http://creativeboom.co.uk/art/colourant-floating-sculptures

they are beautiful, but I also wonder what the "colorant" is!

Love the concept of time-locking. I use this, but haven't knownthat language.
What if Galileo or other great thinkers had tried to develop their ideas amid a barrage of email and calls? Set boundaries to inspire innovation at work.

One of the best ways to save time on your computer is to be consistent when naming your files. It not only saves you time, but will be imperative when (not if) you bring someone in to help you expand your art business.

And try not to save everything to the hard drive- use external drives for your folders.

G+ seems like a great place to ask how Facebook changes in the Reach algorithm are affecting how you market your art. #Artists   #artmarketing   #artbusiness
Have you noticed? Facebook has dramatically reduced the number of people who are organically seeing the posts on your business page. The reach of your posts has probably gone down 50% or more since...

I haven't seen a dramatic drop in FB views yet, but I assume it's coming. The drop will probably mean that I'll start posting to FB less often. Why spend my marketing time writing posts that will barely be seen? There are plenty of other platforms out there.

The #1 reason that most artists' blogs fail is impatience. There's no instant gratification in blogging at the beginning. This makes the rewards difficult to imagine. But don't give up!

In today's post on the Art Biz Blog, I encourage you to stop worrying about Facebook's decline in Reach and start paying more attention to your blog. http://www.artbizblog.com/2014/04/gold-mine-in-your-blog.html

+Lisa Call has a fantastic post on how she created a scale model for her booth at the Smithsonian Craft Show. Super photos, too!

Introduction
I have the coolest job in the world! I work with artists every day to help them get more exposure for their work. I also try to ensure that they create balance in their lives, since this is something I'm always seeking.

I'm living the dream! I have a hillside home in Colorado, a handsome husband that everyone calls Clark Kent, and three cats that don't necessarily get along.
Bragging rights
I was on the front page of the NY Times in the late 80s - sitting behind Robert Gates in a confirmation hearing.
