Monsanto Going to Trial for Crimes Against Humanity.

Monsanto, the company came first to my mind, when I watched the movie Food, Inc. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1286537/), is a biotech company manipulating genes of crops, producing pesticides and basically controlling the U.S. corn industry by suing farmers who "infringe their patents". As if it would be anyhow possible to control where the seeds will fly to and mix in.

In my eyes it should be the other way: If people cannot prevent that their modified "lifeforms" are spreading everythere they should be sued!

I am not saying though that the science behind gene modification is something bad in general though. It might save us maybe in the future, but it should be definitly handled carefully because it could kill us one day as well.

Support the initiative if you think that Monsanto is evil. There is a crowdfunding platform to which you can donate to cover the costs of the trial: http://www.monsanto-tribunal.org/home/crowdfunding/

The next NG-NL conference is going to happen February 18th 2016. I Guess it is the first one after announcing Angular 2 Beta. Very keen to hear about all the news about the #AngularJS framework (https://angular.io/).

Just sad that I will not be able to attend in person.

Very good article about #skills  good programmers need to have. I am conducting interviews for my current employer and these are the essentials you want to find out during an #interview .
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to have people skills and teamwork mentality even as #programmer .
A comment on the number 1 skill mentioned however: Of course impressive programming skills are helpful when applying for a job, however don't get discouraged to apply even if you don't bring them right away in every area: the willingness to learn is in my eyes as important as to show off with your skills.
