Has anybody experienced battery drain using the latest nightly? ( cm-11-20140210-mako)
After enabling CPU Usage from the developer settings, I've noticed that the process "rild" is consuming a lot of CPU.
Could this be because of the latest commits to the ril package?

After reverting to 20140208 nightly, it's all working fine now.

Galaxy Nexus  -

Hi,

My wife's Galaxy Nexus has this issue with the battery. Has anyone else seen this behavior before?

I would like to state that the charger was connected ONLY in the middle and end of this battery cycle...

Thanks.

I can now say that the problem is gone.

What I did was to push the Micro-USB port's tab upwards about half millimeter.

I identified the problem was related to the USB port by identifying "vbus-tuna_otg" kernel wakelock in Wakelock Detector".

Saw this comment:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=23789#c355

and decided to try. Worked like a charm! :)

EDIT: If the problem will return, i will buy a replacement part, as it is very to replace.

Win a Nexus 5 or Nexus 7 with PIEK
With PIEK you are always a winner, no matter whether you follow one of the many IPC courses at PIEK or participate in PIEK´s Be a Winner Action.

In last year´s Be a Winner Action - in promotion of the +Google+ page and the website - the prize was a Nexus 7. Last year’s lucky winners were: +Béatrice Karjalainen (Sweden), +Erik Rijsdam (The Netherlands), +Arnav Kalra (India) and Nick Caylor (USA)

To promote its new website and its Google+ pages, PIEK is raffling off a Nexus 5 and a Nexus 7 among its customers. Participating is very easy.

These are the rules :

Rule 1
If you already have a Google+ account, please follow these points:

1. +1 at least one original post of PIEK’s Be a Winner Action.
2. Share at least one original post of PIEK’s Be a Winner Action.
3. follow our Google+ page

https://plus.google.com/u/0/+Piekiec/posts and http://www.piekiec.com/2013/11/win-nexus-5-or-nexus-7-with-piek.html

Don´t you have a Google+ account? Please create one and follow the above steps.

Rule 2
Anyone in a location where +FedEx delivers items can participate in PIEK’s Be a Winner Action. Barred from participation are: employees, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers of PIEK International Education Centre (I.E.C.).

Rule 3
All entries are collected on www.random.org, where two winners will be drawn. The first draw determines who wins the Nexus 5. The second draw determines who wins the Nexus 7.

PIEK’s Be a Winner Action runs until 1st December. The lucky winners are announced via Google+.

Do not hesitate and get going straight away. Maybe it is you who will be the lucky owner of a Nexus 5 or Nexus 7 very soon.
