+Rajini Rao - agree- there are real creatures shown there that even the most creative mind would never dream up

Thank you for sharing! This is beautiful and thought provoking. Did anyone else think the Crustacean Phronema looked like a spider? :)

It really goes to show that no matter what scale you're looking at it, the universe is an insanely complex and beautiful place...

+Feisal Kamil - my parents let me keep a pet cat-fish in the bathtub for about a week when I was little :)

Welcome to the basement of my home... I live on a schooner (at anchor at the moment) and love to think of all these wonderful creatures living underneath us when we sail across an ocean :-)

BUT WHO IS GOD ? JESUS ? DO THIS ???? HOW DO YOU THINK THAT HUMAN BEING CAN DO ALL THIS ? YOU SHOULD THINK AND READ ABOUT ALLAH AND ISLAM TO RESCUE YOURSELF

wow - woke up to see so many plusses, shares and great comments. Thanks all - glad to see science on the What's Hot list ;)

love +Jim Qian's comment from way up: "there is a old saying in china: a bodhi inside one tree, a world inside one sand."

I doubt that some people don't like science

+Omar Fakhri +emmanuel osinde - even when many people do like science, it's harder than it should be for science posts to end up on Google+'s What's Hot list - too much competition with celebrity posts.... So it is heartening when things that matter do make it there ;)
