I'm always amazed at how this game manages to be beautiful with such simple graphics. :)

I find it interesting that of all the horrible things that befall "godless people", very few of them are done so at the hands of godless people.

So after tonight it's pretty clear that we're going to get a choice between a bat shit crazy, sexist, racist, fear mongering ass-hat, and the status quo.

To be honest, I don't know which one bothers me more.

So here is Bianca and her enourmous boobs. Because.

Accomplished this weekend:

-Installed a hitch on our van. Still need to install the plug for the trailer lights.

-Changed transmission fluid and filter. Had to drill and re-thread a bolt hole in the transmission because who ever last serviced the thing stripped it out.

-Installed transmission cooler, in-spite of the cooler kit missing a piece which I managed to improvise from something I found in one of my boxes of random, normally useless shit. Also, one of the two compression fittings I ordered from amazon was the wrong fucking kind. After visiting three auto parts stores, found one at Ace Hardware.

-Replaced spark plugs and wires.

-Cleaned the horribly corroded battery terminals. Discovered that a dremmel with a wire brush attachment is a far superior cleaning tool than a traditional battery terminal brush.

-Rotated the tires.

It was a productive, if frustrating weekend. I hurt everywhere.

I have no illusions about Obama being a great president. He's an OK president, as modern presidents go, which is actually pretty fucking awful. He was certainly not my first choice, or even my second, but I still believe he was the best of what we were forced to choose from after the primaries.

In spite of a childish, do-nothing, obstructionist congress, there are a few things he's managed to accomplish that I wholeheartedly agree with, this is one of them.
The FCC's rules are some of the strongest ever written.

I love how places around here close whenever the hell they feel like it, regardless of what they say their hours are.

I admin a Minecraft server for the Library where I work. At the moment there are only about ten active players, all but one of them is local. We're always looking for players from anywhere though.

The address is mc.missoulapubliclibrary.org, if anyone is interested.

Glad you like it. We're doing a server reset soon, since 1.9 is coming out tomorrow. That will happen in the next week or so, if everything works out the way I'm hoping.

Service was good. Food was awful. Tina, our waitress was amazing. She was patient, attentive and took good care of us. Unfortunately the food was terrible. My girlfriend ordered the nachos which had almost no cheese on them at all. Only four or five chips had a little bit of melted cheese and the rest of it was just chips and chicken. The chicken also tasted really bad. We also ordered two personal pizza's which were incredibly soggy. So much in fact that when you picked up a slice, the crust just fell apart in your hands. It was impossible to eat. I doubt that we'll give Native Grill and Wings a second chance.

My wife has celiac disease and travelling is always problematic because we gamble every time we eat out. Just because a restaurant has gluten free meals, doesn't mean that they're taking the proper precautions to prevent cross contamination in their kitchens. It's something we've dealt with many times, eating a supposedly gluten free meal but by the time we get home, she is doubled over in pain because something snuck onto her plate before it got to our table. Tomato Street came up on a google search as having a wide variety of gluten free options, so we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. Nearly every item on the menu had gluten free options. We ate, the meal was excellent, Cassidy was a fantastic server that was very conscious of my wife's need to avoid gluten, and seemed very educated on the subject. The meal was excellent for both of us, the service was great and the atmosphere in Tomato Street is very warm and fun. I'll recommend it to anyone, gluten intolerant or not, if you're travelling through Spokane.

They certainly make some very tasty products, there is not doubt about that. We'd started going there because my girlfriend has a gluten allergy and they had some fantastic gluten free baked goods. I'm not sure what happened, but the last two times that I've gone there and bought gluten free doughnuts, my girlfriend has spent the next four days in pain, with the usual symptoms of having ingested gluten. Perhaps one of their ingredients has changed and they're not aware of it, or maybe they're not being as careful about cross contamination as they used to be, but we no longer trust their gluten free products. We will not be buying from them anymore.

The food was good. The service was good. That wasn't the problem. The problem is that one of their claims to fame is that they have a mostly gluten free menu. They even tout it on their website. Avoid the flour tortillas and you're good. This turned out to not be the case. If you have an actual, legitimate gluten intolerance you need to avoid this place. My wife has Celiac disease. Even the tiniest bit of gluten causes horrible shooting pains in her abdomen, diarrhea, nausea, mood swings... it's all really unpleasant and goes on for four or five days. I put in the comments for her meal that she had a severe gluten intolerance and to please be conscious of cross contamination. Apparently they don't take it seriously. About an hour after her meal she started feeling all the usual symptoms. That was two days ago and she finally felt well enough to return to work today. We will not be eating there again.

It's alright but I expected... more. It's a small store without much of a selection. They seem to be geared more toward minifigures, of which they have a pretty good array, but don't have much in the way of lego sets. If you're looking for minifigures or to trade in minifigures, you'll do well here. If you're looking for lego sets, you'll find a better selection at Target or Walmart.
