I think "shiny polished Facebook with Google pixie dust" actually Google+'s tagline ;) But yeah, making lists/privacy easier will be pretty important
Yea, maaaybe. That, and just having it across all Google properties.
Being able to selectively share content is going to change who and who you speak to. I guess Facebook Groups kinda did that but you have to create a 'group' and manage it etc... Circles are private to me.
Also, being across all Google products def will push it into your face.
