I love that - The Velvet Coffin, haha.... I just got out of that, myself.
Let’s face it: most career advice articles are written for people who are unhappy. They’re unemployed, underemployed, stuck in a holding pattern, working for a jerk, floundering aboard a sinking concern, unfulfilled, or unappreciated. Regardless, they want out, and who can blame them? This missive, however, is for people on the other side of that fence. They’re happy at work. Satisfied. Maybe not doing exactly what they’ve always wanted to do, may...

Because why not?
If you know me, you know that this list won’t be your typical. I don’t care which software most people use. But I do have some thoughts on the matter as it applies to doing business. See, that’s always been the angle. I’m not into the tech. I’m into what the tech helps us DO. …

I was fortunate to join a small group of engineers, geeks and entrepreneurs (truly, most of the guys were founders of amazingly smart, mature and scientific business ventures) in the Internet of Things Labs workshop in Austin, TX, on March 12, 2015, the pre-SXSW event.  In one day we designed a prototype to Water 2.0 solution to help cities solve the water crisis and change communities' relationship with the water and its usage. I could never think of such tremendous outcome in just a few hours. The team members were most educated, knowledgeable and deep. My part was to prototype the idea visually for both the desktop and mobile apps, which I did, but what these guys came up with in such short period of time was unexpectedly brilliant, and seemed real and practical. March 12, 2015 was a truly unforgettable experience.

An inspiring glimpse of how #Microsoft sees our future with technology. I have to say, it looks pretty awesome - and may of these things we can already begin to see how it would work with today's technologies. I cant wait for the future!

Automating WebPageTest runs (and analysis) via Google Spreadsheets! Specify the URLs, number of runs, and... sit back and wait for WPT to populate the results in your spreadsheet! Magic.

P.S. Awesome work by +Andy Davies.
Whether it's testing multiple pages to build an overall picture of site performance, testing a page across different browser, device and location combinations, or testing variations of the same page I end up generating lots of measurements and page load waterfalls.
