A delegation of Dutch companies and government officials visited Alibaba Group’s campus in Hangzhou, China, today as part of the official state visit of His Majesty Willem-Alexander, King of the Netherlands. They have announced several major partnerships and collaborations to highlight the best of the Netherlands to Chinese consumers through Alibaba’s giant eco-system. In addition to the Holland country pavilion, which will introduce Dutch products to Chinese consumers, supermarket chains will also launch new flagship stores on Tmall Global, while Alitrip partners with KLM and the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) to reach millions of Chinese travelers.
