We ran the first two sessions at Good Games Burwood on Sunday, Oct 30. There were seven players in total, including 4 who were new to Numenera. Adam Luchjenbroers was the GM. All players enjoyed the session and indicated that they'd return for sessions 3-5 on Sunday, Nov 20.
The first event that was scheduled for Sunday, Oct 23 at Good Games Hurstville had to be canceled due to a lack of sign-ups, unfortunately. There was interest but the date didn't work for enough people. We're therefore trying a new launch date of Nov 27 for Hurstville. Mika Talley, who's visiting from Chicago (thanks for putting her in touch with me, Sean) has put her hand up to GM, so I'm going to step aside for her. Fingers crossed the new date works for Hurstville but, even if it doesn't, we're off to a great start at one venue at least.

I've quickly put together the following image for Cypher Play Season 1. It's sized appropriately for Facebook events. Feel free to use.

With Sean's blessing, I've coordinated with Warhorn, the free event management service, to have Cypher Play added as a campaign. I have now also added in each session of CP season 1 with spoiler-free text as a global scenario. Here is my Warhorn site as a sample: https://warhorn.net/events/cypher-play-nsw. We're launching sessions in Sydney, Australia at Good Games Hurstville and Good Games Burwood later this month.

3 days to go on the Blight Kickstarter for 5e, PF, and S&W, and at $84,575 pledged, Brandon Hodge's Crooked Nail has funded and we're on the way to new fiction by Richard Pett, a new adventure by Bill Webb, and then we're taking target at $100k. Take a look and consider pledging to get in before it closes, and help make the 5e print version a reality! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/froggodgames/the-lost-lands-the-blight-richard-petts-crooked-ci/

Most of you should know, and perhaps fear, the name, Richard Pett. For those of you for whom the name is unfamiliar, you can (and should) experience his sinister and atmospheric Pathfinder contributions in several adventure path volumes (The Skinsaw Murders, Escape From Old Korvosa, The Sixfold Trial, Sound of a Thousand Screams, Trial of the Beast, Forest of Spirits, The Wormwood Mutiny, Into the Nightmare Rift, City of Locusts, Shifting Sands, Dance of the Damned) and modules (Carrion Hill, The Moonscar). Some of you, a little more long-in-the-tooth, perhaps, may even have known his name before Pathfinder, from his contributions to Dungeon magazine. His "Styes" adventures in that publication remain two of the most highly-rated of the D&D 3rd edition era, and their setting, a crooked and filthy city suffused with urban horror, was voted as the best adventure location in the magazine's 20-year history. If only that setting could be available for the Pathfinder RPG.
Well, now it can be. Frog God Games has just launched a Kickstarter to bring Richard's city back to our game tables. Redubbed "The Blight," the project not only includes details on the entire urban setting, but a low-level, gritty 9-part adventure path, 'Levee,' written entirely by Richard himself. It's a 900-page book. And you can have it all for less than the price of a Paizo adventure path. And there's more. As well as Poster Maps, GM's Guides, Reference Decks, and Player's Guides, you can also get another four adventure modules set in the Blight: The Crucible (also by Richard), Bloody Jack (by Greg A. Vaughan), The Crooked Nail (by Brandon Hodge), and Horror in the Sinks (by yours truly).

Due to popular demand, the Blight, if it funds, will now be produced for 5th edition. If you’d like to see it become a reality, please consider backing. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/froggodgames/the-lost-lands-the-blight-richard-petts-crooked-ci/posts/1425483
