The most intelligently written TV show during the past 5 years.

I'm so looking forward to it :))

I wonder what month and year the new episode will begin on?

+Michael Elenko Here it says March 25th "AMC announced today that the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning drama Mad Men will be back with a two-hour Season 5 Premiere on Sun., Mar. 25 at 9pm ET/PT." http://blogs.amctv.com/mad-men/2012/01/season-5-premiere-date-announced.php

+Chris Veerabadran, oops, I meant within the context of the show. Didn't season 4 end during 1966? I'm wondering if the year-long gap will be reflected in the script?

But if they bring us to mid-1967, so much social change will have been passed over--part of the greatness of Mad Men is how they integrate political events with the lives (and lies) of all the characters. Of course it will fit with the natural aging of the show's cast. That always seems visible, makeup be damned.
I guess that's part of the allure of the show.

I watched an episode of that show when I was 8 and I was scarred for life
