Summary: The conventional wisdom seems to be that by putting the screws to publishers like Hachette, Amazon is displaying its monopoly powers and ruining the book industry. But it is actually making the market better — not just for book buyers but authors too

Turns out there's still good, affordable Indian food in Toronto after all. The service is great, the food is excellent: nin-greasy and spicy without sacrificing flavour. The lamb rogan josh is particularly good and make sure you order a side of naan.

All around great place. The tea itself is all excellent, the fancy tea brewing machines might look a bit gimmicky but they do seem to make for very consistent, perfectly brewed, flavourful tea. As a bonus they have a small selection of board games, including a couple heavier euros like Power Grid.

Excellent shawarma and falafel place. The meat and (fresh) falafels are a cut above usual counter serve fare but beyond that, this is one of the few places you really won't regret ordering a platter. The rice is properly cooked and flavourful the vegetables are crisp and the garlic potatoes are excellent. Don't skimp on the sauces either. They're all great, especially the chili sauce.

Chow mein noodles are an unexpected improvement on the classic burrito model. If you have a taste for spice don't be afraid to ask for it extra, extra spicy because the heat level is fairly low.

Outstanding thin crust pizza, the Funghi and Mr. Hand are particularly good.

An all around lovely place good food in serves-a-family portions and wonderfully friendly service. Other reviewers have already mentioned the excellent rice and buns, but don't leave without trying the fried cauliflower.
