I've had a few bad dining experiences at Aliano's in the past but was craving pasta the other night and thought I'd give Aliano's express service a chance. I figured if I didn't have to deal with their horribly slow service the food itself might be worth it. I was wrong, Aliano's serves high school cafeteria quality meals but you pay as if you were getting gourmet authentic Italian food. It's close to home and the owner and family seem like nice people but this place needs to be reworked from the ground up, new wait staff, chefs, better quality food, new menu. Maybe i'll try them again in a few years

Excellent food and great atmosphere. I've been there a few times and they are my restaurant of choice when I am able to dine out. Very friendly staff, and great with kids. I ended up talking to the table next to us. The woman was actually the owners mother and she was also a very polite, nice, easy going person. I haven't met the owner yet, but I will ask for him next time so I can tell him what a great job he is doing. Thank you.

My wife ordered catering from Aliano's for our daughters' birthday/baptism. We have not eaten here before so we were taking a risk without knowing how the food tasted but I have to say that we were very happy with the food. We ordered the meat lasagna, chicken limone, side of green beans and cheese pizza. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food. My wife spoke with the owner of the restaurant when placing the order and he was very helpful and accommodating to adjusting any dishes for us. I would highly recommend them!

Lost a customer. Enjoyed the first and second times. The 3rd on Father's Day was a joke. The place was in disarray: waited at the hostess stand several minutes after calling and confirming there was no wait, wobbly table had to switch, bread finally came totally burnt, unaware server, felt forgotten in an empty restaurant, 2 new chefs and like a "Friday night" excuse was given, forgot we hadn't ordered our entrees, the lasagna was a noodle less pile of sauce and meat, the replacement barely better, overheard complaints from the kitchen, overheard other customers inquiring about what was happening, sent away bicycling patio seeking patrons at 8:15pm because they were told closed at 8 (9pm close) and they would have been locked out, all that still amongst other things.. Thought we had a great, Italian joint for a long future.. Sorely mistaken.

Food is quite good. Service wasn't bad per se, but a little inattentive, not real swift about refilling drinks or water, had to remind waitress to bring parmesan. I did see another customer have to come in from outside and ask for a condiment. I also thought it was a little expensive for what you got. $10 for a bowl of pasta which doesn't sound bad, but the portion was on the small side, no bread or salad or anything--basically a la carte. That said, the quality and flavor of the food was very good.

My wife and I had reservations at Alianos on 2/13/16 at 7:30 PM. We arrived at 7:20, only to be "greeted" by the hostess telling us in a flippant manner that there were still couples from 6:45 PM that had not yet been seated. So we attempted to wait in the nothing-by-nothing entryway - which was quite crowded. No one left the restaurant and the entryway grew even more crowded. As more couples with reservations arrived, the hostess continued to greet them rudely, with phrases such as "Just so you know, it's going to be a while!!" and other gems. We waited and were made to feel very "in the way" by the hostess and other waitstaff, even though there was literally nowhere for us to stand. Rude, rude, rude. No friendly customer service at all. Eventually, we called Gaetanos (down the street)and asked if they happened to have any open tables, and to our surprise, they did due to a cancellation. So we rushed over to Gaetanos where they were more than happy to seat us. We had a wonderful dinner at Gaetanos - which I would highly recommend to anyone! One might brush this off as an isolated incident, but on New Years' Eve 2014, I ordered takeout from Alianos. I arrived at the time that they told me that my food would be ready, only to experience wait more than thirty minutes before they actually brought my food out! When one is paying a babysitter in order to have a nice dinner out, customer service and timelines is paramount. Alianos failed us in both of those areas. We will not attempt to dine there again.

Horrible experience here. It took forever for them to get us our food and it wasn't very busy. I also ordered a spaghetti with meatballs to go and there were no meatballs. They barely gave any bread and overcharged us for the wine. For the price of our meal the food should have been high quality but was cold and was definitely not worth the hour we sat waiting for it.
