So, the answer is to cut back on the level of service until only those who can't get out remain?  Sounds great.  I don't think that's the lesson from Detroit either.  These are long-term problems that can't be solved with a single year of budget cuts.  Debt is not a sin and can help you to get to a better place.

And cutting back on the zoo is really a shame.  That's one of the only things we drive into the city for.

What are people doing to invest in making Jackson someplace in which people want to stay?

Pathetic.
Imagine getting arrested for flirting or foreplay. That’s the nightmare scenario for two North Carolina teens, who got slapped with felony charges for having a consensual sexually explicit SMS exchange.

Seems like great news!
Clinton’s decision to endorse a ban on “golden parachute” payments for Wall Street executives who rotate into government service has shifted the balance of power in her party.

"Mercer, who worked under nine DNC heads between 1989 and 1997, said the criticism "has more to do with candidates seeking short term media and news coverage and visibility than anything to do with what we know to be a fair, balanced debate schedule that will command a diverse and national audience of millions." "

Yes!  Exactly!  And so what???  Presidential debates, as arguably few and poor in quality as they might be, are the only way to offset the extreme imbalance in campaign finances for some candidates.  Why not a single debate?  Let's pretend that is enough.  Five?  Ten?  As many as possible!  What's the goal here?  To do as little as possible toward demonstrating that we have a free and open electoral system?  Or to actually foster such a system?

Clearly, based on the evidence that a relatively small number of private citizens and organizations contribute much more than normal working people to political campaigns, the amount of money a candidate can raise is almost meaningless in determining whether or not she is qualified to be president, deserves to participate in the only forum available to DEBATE ideas with other candidates, and show the public what is out there and who might best represent them.  Otherwise, there is just the illusion of choice and pretending that ours is actually an open form of government.
Angst over the presidential debates and a tough choice on Iran await Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

We've been taking our two cats to Oakdale for a year. The time and attention we get from everyone at Oakdale is more than we could ask. Dr. Sullivan always takes the time to answer all of our questions, and usually answers them before we even think of them. I love that they are reachable via e-mail! Everyone is extremely friendly and professional, and the facilities are clean and attractive.

They came out next day, were punctual, professional, and helpful. Plus, they have the same rates on weekends! It was nice that they e-mailed us prior to their arrival.

Awesome vegetarian food! I got the regular fresh-cut french fries with salt and pepper, and their homemade Jamaican veggie burger. Great atmosphere, super friendly service, great experience. Really comfortable lunch spot.

Their customer service is superior. I've had to request administrative help a few times and each time the manager has responded very quickly, been very helpful, and never made me feel like I was putting him out. Plus, they are very much online; they respond to e-mail, and do online class bookings and payment. Their facilities are clean and attractive. I only go there in the morning, so I don't know what it's like by the time herds of people are done with the place by mid-afternoon, but the place is tastefully decorated and serene. In the Reformer room, there's a waterfall, ceiling fans, peaceful lighting, climate control. The machines seem well maintained. My instructors have been extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and there are several to choose from. P.S. I've only taken the Reformer classes.

They came to fix our toilet around February 2012 and were extremely professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They realized someone had installed mismatched parts in our toilet tank and fixed the problem very quickly.
