The 2018/19 year is the final compliance year of the #CRC #Energy Efficiency Scheme. Participants are required to maintain accounts on the registry until 31st March 2022. The Statutory Instrument for Streamlined Energy & #Carbon Reporting (SECR), the new reporting, has now been approved by Parliament and comes into force on 1 April 2019.

“There has been some increased buying activity on the technical front, as well as support from some Norwegian outages,” said Wayne Bryan, analyst at Alfa Energy.

He also pointed to expectations of cooler temperatures following the latest weather forecasts and lower #LNG send-out.
