My name is Alexius – also called Alex. I was born and grew up in Denmark. Now I partly live in Denmark and partly on La Gomera – a small Canary island close to West Sahara in Africa. Here is a short listing of my life:
NO FORMAL EDUCATION. Isn´t it incredible what one can do, when one does not know, what one does or what one is.
WORKING WITH KIDS from when I was 16. Two of the bestselling newspapers brought articles about my work.
TAXI DRIVER from when I was 19.
MONK from when I was 20, became what is to be compared to enlightened and was selected to go around Europe giving satsang on behalf of my guru of that time. I am no longer involved with a guru or any searching for this and that. I see no meaning of life other than living it – to live it is to understand it – and there´s no difference between me and life.
RESTAURANT/CAFÉ OWNER from when I was 26 with two restaurants and two cafés. One of the restaurants were the first real vegetarian restaurant in Denmark and the other one (ecological btw) were nominated for Guide Michelin. A fictional movie based on Café Floss and its characters of models, punks and musicians have been produced by the Danish Television, who also produced ´The Killing´. Started the business adventure with no money, became a millionaire, and finished 12 years later with no money.
FATHER of two wonderful kids from when I was 30 years.
NOT MUCH from I was 38. After years of intense business I felt like withdrawing from the world. Well I remember though sometimes I were DJ´ing playing R&B in the radio and House in the disco. Also remember I stopped reading books thrusting to sense through my own life, what´s to see for me.
HEALING MASSAGE from I was 41 I started an education of massage, but the school engaged me as an assistant before the education was over.
TEACHER from I was 43 years in Graphic Design at an advertising school.
ART DIRECTOR from I was 45. Exploring my creativity as self employed in Mediaman Design.
PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE MOMENT from I was 56. I am not a photographer, just someone having fun shooting photos, donno when, where or how. Shoot informally, unposed and unarranged using the available light. There´s not much time – if any – to look for a tripod, the right exposure, angle, frame, white balance etc. No worries! I don´t consider these adjustments as tools for making an accurate replicate of reality – but instead as tools to create a photo that´s reminiscent of the moment the way I experience it.
HERO OF THE FUTURE when I was 57 The Danish Institute of Future Research selected me as a role model for the future.
EVERYTHING: Recently – when I were rescued by a helicopter from the rainforest after two days without food and water – I realized very deeply EVERY MOMENT IS THE PERFECT MOMENT. Won´t spend time to further define this. I am every moment – moments of listening to music, doing photography, hiking in the mountains, hanging out with friends, chilling to the sunset, watching movies, playing with my cats, writing posts to my blog, having a daydream or whatever comes my way – of course the experience of the moment often is spiced by passing feelings of going up and down ... like having fun in a roller coaster!

Enlightenment is to be compared to hide all the apps on your computer including the app that makes the desktop background. Then you´ll only see light and not the world of appearances. You can choose to show the apps again and play the games made possible…
Does it make a difference in a dream, if you seem to be a rock star, a school teacher, a politician or a cleaner? No matter you seem to be in the dream, if you live in the now or not, believe in buddhism or any other ´ism´, it´s still a dream. Whatever…
We experience the world through the eyes, which are picking up rays of light reflected from what seems to be surfaces. The eyes though are not actually seeing these surfaces. Inside the eyes there are three organs, that pick up respectively, what we call,…
