Hey, all!

I've compiled some tips for getting YouTubers and folks on Twitch to give your game a whirl. Thanks go out to Ryan Letourneau (Northernlion) and Michael Shaevitch (SmikeTV), who each put together presentations on the subject.

Have anything else to add? Have you had any luck spreading the word about your game on YouTube?
We all know YouTube is the world’s video behemoth, but it’s easy to miss the fact that it’s the second largest search engine in existence by some accounts. Upwards of 1 billion unique users visit YouTube each month and, according to TV ratings outfit... #gamedev #gamedevelopment #indie

I'm sorry, but I have to toot my own horn.

Someone reviewed the +Binpress Podcast and left a glowing review I had to share:

I Love Listening To These!!!
by Derek Carlson

From age 12 to 28 I was a programmer; for the last 14, not so much - I just got sick of it. But listening to Alexis is so engaging and delightful, and the personalities and stories of the people he has interviewed are so real, so authentic, so insightful, that I'm finding myself once again inspired by software engineering. And I am so touched by the model of Open Source and by the idea of communities doing stuff for the love of it. That's the kind of world I want to live in. I get uplifted and inspired by every single podcast thus far and hope there's lots more coming. Excellent, excellent job.

*

That makes me incredibly happy. Not bad for the first review.

Wowza.

We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer (=2,147,483,647 views), but that was before we met PSY. "Gangnam Style" has been viewed so many times we have to upgrade!

Hover over the counter in PSY's video to see a little math magic and stay tuned for bigger and bigger numbers on YouTube.

Jasmine at Personal Mini Storage treated me incredibly well. She made the process of getting a storage unit simple, and even helped me pick the most convenient one for my needs. I didn't expect stellar customer service from a storage facility, but that's exactly what I got.
