Okay people, I have a plan.

You know that whenever there is a news story trending about something horrible Trump has done, Trump picks a fight with some other person via Twitter? And then, without fail, everyone in both social and the news media talks not about the horrible thing Trump has done but the latest horrible thing Trump has said, thus causing most people to forget about the horrible thing?

This, my friends, is the "Dead Cat Strategy"

and it has allowed Trump and his supporters to shape the narrative and draw attention from the really important stuff. Take this last weekend - instead of talking about the Trump University settlement, everyone talked about the fact that Trump picked a Twitter fight with the cast of Hamilton.

Don't fall for this trap!

Instead, here is what I suggest you do if you have a Twitter account: Whenever Trump (aka "@realDonaldTrump") picks a fight with one of his detractors, whines about the media being "unfair" or otherwise wants to make the public discussion about his personality instead of his actions, don't engage him on it - but instead use the hashtag #ThisIsADiversion and post a link to something questionable he has actually done (and there is plenty to choose from). I've included a link to an example.

It is unlikely that this will stop him from posting inane stuff to Twitter, but at least we might be able to prevent him from controlling the narrative.
The cast and producers of Hamilton, which I hear is highly overrated, should immediately apologize to Mike Pence for their terrible behavior. Jürgen Hubert – @FranconianExile. @realDonaldTrump #ThisIsADiversion Let's talk about your Trump University settlement instead.

Very good coffee and pastries (with some of the best apple fritters I've had - ever.) When I was working in the area, this was my go-to for my morning coffee.

Excellent onion rings, and their Teriyaki burger was excellent. The prices are comparable to other upper end burger places like Five Guys & Wow Burger. Would definitely go again.
