No clue. Samsung blocked access to the photosphere camera I think, with the intention of releasing their own app that does that. They haven't yet released such an app to my knowledge.

I don't want to get my hopes too far up, but might we have found the first real alternative to Feynman diagrams?

If that were the case, I don't know why a physicist would advertise that his theory violates unitarity instead of saying the opposite--that it preserves unitarity. Anyhow, I'm willing to chalk my whole interpretation to the layman-ization of the science in the article and/or fundamental misunderstanding. It does say that they can generate equivalent calculations with fewer manipulations, so the discussion of unitarity may have been made without the necessary context to really understand what part of the calculation violates it. For instance, even Feynman diagrams will violate it if one calculates interfering diagrams independently.

Chromecast: Cast movies on your Desktop Computer

As the title says... if you have a movies on your desktop computer, you can now cast them straight to Chromecast.

This is highly efficient, as there is no encoding/decoding taking place. It streams at full quality, with no lag. And since it is a Chrome app, it works on all platforms. No binary installation necessary; it will be available on the Chrome store.

Technical Details
I spent tonight writing a mini HTTP server in JavaScript that runs in Chrome. Full featured enough to handle requests and stream movies.

Yes, that means there is a web server running in my web browser. I'm insane.

Physicist. Always.
Introduction
I may have left physics academia for industry, but I remain a physicist at heart. I'm taking the skills I learned there out into the world and tinkering about with different technologies. Applying the critical thinking to large social problems and discussions. And bringing scientific thinking to how I approach problems all over.

No screens in the "door" to Juliette balcony. Even though this is the only window in the living room and you'd like to open it to keep it cool. They'll let you install a really tacky looking temporary screen, but they won't install nice permanent ones. The garage is atrociously laid out. Thick concrete pillars make it impossible to see cars coming around, and the lanes are narrow enough that really two cars can just barely slide by each other. They have electric charging stations for EVs, but heaven help you to actually be able to get a spot near one. The management certainly won't. Oh, and for all they talk of security, I've lived there 2+ years and the garage doors have been functional for... maybe all of 8 months, sprinkled throughout that time. They just leave them open all the time. Why bother even having doors? They have a club room that you can hold parties in... except that they charge $500 for use of the room, and no alcohol allowed. If you get a package, enjoy waiting around in the office for someone to maybe get to you to help you get it. There are only one or two people out front, often busy with other things, and whatever other staff exists hide in back offices away from being able to assist residents. And they'll jack up your apartment rent by 5% or whatever to account for "market adjustments" even though apartments similar to yours in the building are being rented at rates less than what you're paying.

Super comfortable seating, especially for two. (Faux) Leather recliners with a center armrest that can be swung up and out of the way. Reserved seats mean I can plan ahead, buy tickets at home for the 'good' seats at some showing and then just show up for the show, rather than 'early' to get 'good seats.' Concession fare is standard, nothing super impressive, but I've never been much for theatre concessions anyway.

The pizzas we got were pretty bland overall and didn't have red sauce which really surprised us and wasn't obvious at all from their menu listings. I might change my rating on a second try.

Room and conditions were all good. Bartender was very pleasant. Location is right by the airport, which has its pros and cons. Close is nice, but still airplanes taking off and stuff.
