Mind-blowing Web #stats - What should you say when someone asks you if crazy valuations in #mobile technology mean we're in a bubble?

"... "No." - [Because of] this crazy stat: In 1999, there were 38 million broadband Internet users worldwide. Today, there are 1.2 billion people getting broadband Internet access on their phones."

I agree; the market isn't in a bubble. The bubble-mongers of today are just scared from their first go around with the web in '99. The factors they fail to realize is that the Internet was far from trusted (and often used as a villain in films) among consumers. It wasn't a platform for commerce, it was only a socializing platform for "pedophiles and creepers"; now it's a common place appliance next to the microwave, only it's one you can take with you in your pocket.
