Hello,

Trying to set up virtual pageview tracking on an image slider (reason being many of these images are mostly text, and would like to track as such). I just can't seem to figure out where to place such code (site is running classic GA). Here is a sample:

<div id="brochureFrame">
<div class="overlay">
<img src="/inc/images/brochure/logo.png" alt="" width="243" height="77" class="logo" />
</div>
<a href="#" id="brochurePrevious"><img src="/inc/images/brochure/btn-previous.png" alt="Previous" class="png" /></a>
<a href="#" id="brochureNext"><img src="/inc/images/brochure/btn-next.png" alt="Next" class="png" /></a>
<div id="brochureSlideContainer">
<div id="brochureSlides">
<div class="brochureSlide" id="slide01">
<img src="1.jpg" alt="slide 1" />
</div>
<div class="brochureSlide" id="slide02">
<img src="2.jpg" alt="slide 2" />
</div>
etc...
etc...

Placing the _gaq.push directly on each slide image source didn't work. If I place something on the Previous/Next click interactions, how do I get it to push each respective slide as the virtual pageview into GA?

A Rocky spinoff using Apollo Creed's son? Intriguing. The trailer makes it look damn good enough.

Awesome look into what Portland used to look like before Waterfront Park and Naito were built. #pdx

Public transportation and infrastructure is so behind in the US. Toy trains in Japan are running on mag-lev. Seriously, their TOY FREAKING TRAINS are running on the same underlying technology as their full size bullet trains, and run at 300mph if you scaled up. There is no hope for this country....

Google will no longer to link to any 3rd party review sites from within Google My Business local listings. Reviews on sites like Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc. are still critical, they just won't receive any link or mention from any Google local property. #localseo

I could easily see this being exploited by sites. Not just emoji related ones like the image below, but credible sites in meaningful industries. 1 or 2 start using them to stand out in SERPs, then more follow, and soon it's an emoji-filled mess. #seo

Love the ability to check conversion tracking faster.
Starting today, checking the status of AdWords conversion tracking tags is faster and clearer. Add a new tag (also known as a “code snippet”) to a page you’d like to track, visit the tagged page once, and AdWords will verify that the code works within 30-60 minutes. This will even work if none of your campaigns are running yet. If any issues arise, you can identify when they started using timestamps for “conversion tag last seen” and “last conversion recorded.”

As you make changes to your website, please use the improved “Tracking Status” column to check that your tags continue working as expected. We hope these changes make setting up and troubleshooting AdWords conversion tracking easier and simpler. To learn more, visit the AdWords Help Center: http://goo.gl/6xgO0z

Very insightful look at the current state of search results in Google. It's becoming more and more crucial to find additional ways to be visible in search results beyond the traditional organic search result.
