OK, who agrees with John's industry Jargon list here?

I think some people feel that tethering is really no different from using unlimited data, it should be inclusive.

Thoughts?

I think it depends on the contract that you signed. If it specifies unlimited data on your phone, but limited data for tethering, then that's what you agreed to. That's fair. If you don't like the restrictions of your plan, then change it.

Data use on a phone and tethering a laptop are not the same thing. Due to its size and somewhat limited function a phone is typically used differently than a laptop. Service plans are built, and priced, around that typical use.

I find it ironic that some of the people who jailbreak their iOS devices deride Apple for its slowness in dealing with security issues.

Went to CES 2015 in Vegas and stayed at Excalibur. Loved the hotel and its proximity to Mandalay Bay and the availability of shuttles to LVCC. Lots of complaints here about the resort fees, which I agree with, but that's Vegas....I think all hotels should get rid of the resort fee. The hotel was nice, good staff and clean room. For what we paid, it was a great deal to stay on the Strip.

This place is next to Subway.....I love Subway but skipping their door and opening Pocket's door is totally worth it! Pocket's sandwiches are PRIMO! I always get the southwest chicken sandwich and good Lord! It's a bit pricer than Subway but totally worth it, the ingredients are fresh and delicious! Next time you're in the area and heading to Subway, STOP and go to Pocket's! Great staff too! Friendly, courteous and fast! You won't regret eating at pockets! The Calzone's are awesome too!! They take a bit longer and you have to wait, but call ahead and it'll be ready when you get there!

This was my previous home church! Great people here, really helped me in so many ways! A mix of old and contemporary worship and Pastor Ross's sermons are always enlightening. Children's program is great and they have some great programs for high school aged kids. Overall a great experience at Calvary, some days I do miss them a lot.

Hot and Ready pizza for $5 is always a great deal! People at Little Caesars in Yorkville or very nice, always very pleasant. The pizza's are consistent and our kids love them! I have to take away one star because the pizza's aren't always ready, this is true especially Friday and Saturday nights. Now I understand it's because of the volume of pizza's being sold and that's why I take just one star. Other than that, great place to get a cheap pie!

The crab rangoon are some of the best I've had. Usually places skimp on the creme cheese/crab filling but not these guys! The pork fried rice is amazing with huge chunks of pork that taste amazing! Also love the general tso's chicken. Service is also fast! Good people manning the counters and great customer service!

Woodman's pride's itself on being employee owned and operated, this is how they say they keep their prices low. Indeed their pricing is awesome, our family of seven gets more bang out of our buck than shopping at Jewel. Selection of product is great and availability is not an issue, I would have loved to rate Woodmans with 5 stars but there is just one small problem. This employee owned grocery store just does not know how to do customer service. Pricing is great but you really do your clients a disservice by providing substandard customer service. From rude employees to having only a few cash registers open, it can be frustrating to shop at Woodmans unless you know exactly what you need and are ready to wait. But the worst violation of customer service, is the poor bagging done by the employees who don't seem to care about your groceries. I mean it's not their food right? Placing fresh meat products in the same bag as cleaning products. Putting heavy cans and goods on top of fragile grapes or eggs. There really is no rhyme or reason how they bag food here. I find myself rebagging the goods out in my car so I know my stuff isn't damaged. So to Woodmans employees, please stop for a minute and think, you pride yourselves on being employee owned. Now it's time to pride yourselves on providing good customer service.
