+James Cook is presenting at the #WWW2012 conference today on his intern project at #GoogleResearch last summer, joint with +Atish Das Sarma, +Andrew Tomkins, and me.

There is lots of talk about modern media, Twitter, etc, making our attention spans shrink. But we found evidence of exactly the opposite. Interested? Take a look at our study, looking at how long people stayed in the news over the course of 116 years, based on the Google News Archive.
