Fifteen hard-core Android Central Forums members are getting a first crack at reviewing ASUS' newest flagship phone. Now we're looking for the next 15. ASUS is gearing up to release the ZenFone 2 this spring. But that's really just the beginning of the story of this phone. And we'll help tell that story, for sure. But the first chapters are going to be written by you, the members of...

I wrote more things! An update to my original article on future battery technology.
Recent advancements in Lithium Sulfur and Lithium metal anodes pave the way for smaller, safer batteries with higher capacities. Back at the start of the year in our Smartphone Futurology series, we discussed the technology behind the battery in smartphones and what's to come in the future. This article is a quick update to that piece, looking at some of the recent developments in...

HTC chairwoman Cher Wang has replaced Peter Chou as CEO of the company. Chou will remain at HTC but will lead the company's Future Development Lab. Chou has overseen both the good and the bad at HTC, having been at the Taiwanese manufacturer since its founding. Not only was the former CEO leading the company through the purchase and subsequent sale of Beats Electronics, but was...

Wow, a woman CEO? So sexist. They're obviously just trying to appeal to the LIBERALS in the US.

The Apple TV is a pretty horrible slow experience now. It buries the stuff I want to watch behind multiple clicks and loading screens. I'll be dusting mine off for a few months to try the new HBO Now but as soon as I can go back to Chromecasting I will.

There's a treat waiting at the bottom of this article. It's magical.

If you've ever used a Samsung Galaxy phone — or even sat near anyone else using one — you'll be familiar with the manufacturer's widely derided default sound effects. Since the Galaxy S3, each button press or icon tap has been punctuated by an obnoxious "bloop" — supposedly a water droplet sound — a remnant of...

Our thoughts on this unusual little guy

Here's what we think about HTC's RE camera now that we've used it a bit. When HTC announced the RE camera in the fall of 2014, plenty of people were curious. HTC is branching out and building "lifestyle" products (their words, not mine) and started with an accessory that was odd-looking,… #android

HTC is branching out and building "lifestyle" products (their words, not mine) and started with an accessory that was odd-looking, yet intriguing. It didn't look like a handheld camera (or even a GoPro), but it had a 16-...

It's true. Our (newer) new review format is pretty fancy.

Fair warning: Trying (another) new review format on +Android Central next week. Still fancy, but no more webview. (Thank the gods.) Should be way lighter to load. (He says, knowing full well that could be an empty promise because of things outside his control.)

It's not quite a return to the old "Mute" mode, but it's an improvement.

Android 5.1 Lollipop brings new 'interruptions' options that make it easier to silence your phone while you're sleeping. It's a long-running complaint with many Android Lollipop phones — you want to mute your phone, but that option's just not there anymore. Instead you have to deal with… #android

It's a long-running complaint with many Android Lollipop phones — you want to mute your phone, but that option's just not there anymore.
