I am an engineer, designer, and inventor who has developed interactive experiences for companies like KBS+P, Spies & Assassins, Yahoo, and Freelancers Union among others. I have a cross-functional skill set in hardware, software, and visual design. I earned a degree in computer engineering in 2005 and worked as a software engineering consultant for two years before entering the world of interaction design at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program. There I found an outlet for mixing my technical skills with my passion for design, earning my Master's degree in 2009. I am interested in creating thoughtful and intuitive interfaces for people in a wide variety of media, but am drawn to the concepts of play and game design as ways to engage users and leave them with lasting impressions of an experience. I recently left NYC in the summer of 2012 to begin a new adventure pursuing my PhD at Arizona State University's School of Arts, Media + Engineering.
