TL; DR: Trazimo ljude koji dobro znaju C++. Nije neki komplicirani zahtjev, zar ne? :)

I was talking about the Vulkan API a bit here and there...
Next week the Gaming Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, CA starts and it appears there are new faces, products and even a new section catering specifically to Virtual Reality.  With this in mind, and the Rift CV and VIVE literally on a boat in the Pacific, yet game developer companies dropping like flies, is this the much needed jolt  to revive the sagging gaming industry?

Plus we follow up with a several articles written questioning the validity of the "Nefertiti Hack" based upon this show's information, and Paul & Fred's great articles.  We also look into Vulkan - "The DIrectX killer" and how Croteam is already putting it to work. As well as some cool new 3D printing materials and of course our friend the "Print Whisperer" will bestow another tip on how to ensure you get best print, stay on top of things, or just staying healthy as you print.

GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu
...and to the Grub team, or to Ubuntu team, or whoever came up with changing this default, I can only say: "Go Apple yourselves in the FireWire slot with a USB jack." People who find themselves offended by seeing the menu shouldn't be using Linux.

Just attended a demo of HTC Vive. Mind: blown. Saying anything more would not do it justice. I have to admit I was rather disappointed with VR so far, but this is something else. Much else.

Turn off automatic retrieval of MMSs, if you haven't already.

It's still not quite here yet, +Jovica Popovic , as the maps app is still not released in #Croatia , but yeah, looking forward to this. Also, it would be much more useful if it actually worked with voice navigation, right? :)
+Alen Ladavac, it's back! See? It didn't even take more than a couple of years, and you can rename places in Maps again. Told you it would get there eventually. :-)

And what about people with big Steam libraries? ;)

Antiviruses are evil. If I had a dollar for every time a stupid AV caused a techsupport problem in one of our games, I could retire by now.

"... ask the network to enhance whatever it detected...", "... we can also let the network make that decision... " Ugh... That's standard engineering talk, and I myself am probably often guilty of abusing metaphorical speech this way. However, I think that this kind of texts being shared across the general public might be contributing to the "AI fobia" lately promoted by Hawkins and Musk.
Any decent software engineer (not just AI experts), of course understands that "ask", "let make that decision" etc are tech-slang for mathematical operations ran on the network's matrices to extract some results. You can't actually "ask" a (contemporary) neural network anything. It's just way too dumb to make a conversation. But to an uneducated observer, this certainly does sound scarily as if the network is an actually aware creature.
