Hello,

We are re-posting this clip, since it seems to be misunderstood in terms of possible applications. We are not going to explain how it works, but rather, how many different verticals could exploit the technology.

Since the technology works with projections, they can be adjusted to fit the dimensions and needs of most spaces. If you have a retail space, for instance, we could turn a blank wall, or even the display window glass of your retail shop into a giant 4K TV. We could fully render the glass opaque with imagery, or be creative, and do reveals into the shop/display, or only super-impose whatever holograms are appropriate.

One example might be a Christmas display window. Instead of a static Santa, one could appear on the display window as flying over roof-tops, only to have all his reindeer, sled, and Santa himself, slowly pull into the store's “stable” as see on the giant window. The display could loop, and vary enough to not be too repetitive in a number of ways. Clients, or just passers-by, could even take photos along-side the display window – with the requisite retail branding and identity visible in any number of ways. Thus, when the images and/or video are shared across social media, you are certain to get hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions of social shares for free, across myriad platforms. These shares alone would easily off-set the cost of any installation and content creation.

Additionally, if one runs a retail store: we are developing technologies to focus on individuals in proximity to your retail space. We will provide POS/POP options that create unique advertisements that can be transmitted to smart-phones, or, if customers opt-in, for unique visual presentations to appear on display windows, or elsewhere in the store, as a means in aiding conversions with discounts, targeted retail from purchase histories and consumer behavior, augmented reality, tablets, Google Glass, etc.

Unlike traditional 'Pepper's Ghost' illusions that have been misnamed as #holograms – such as the #TuPacShakur or #MichaelJackson presentation at the #Billboard Music Awards in 2014, this design is not dissimilar. We are very cognizant that this particular offering is not a hologram in the most direct scientific sense, but, we are working on creating those types of illusions too!

While our Pepper's Ghost employs some similar, and permit us to be perfectly clear here, PUBLIC DOMAIN concepts (a decision upheld twice in superior courts within the USA): it utilizes unique materials, and other processes, not owned nor licensed by any other; we would prefer our competitors to remain nameless, since they are inordinately litigious.

Alternative presentations require the viewer to be at as close to a perpendicular line-of-sight for the illusion to work. If one happens to be viewing by the side stands, the illusion 'breaks,' because it will be seen as 2-dimensional.

Our design, in addition to superior visual fidelity, does not require a near-perfect perpendicular presentation to the audience, people have a greater than 150-degree field of view. One can be off to the side of the main seating, and still appreciate a fully dimensional, stereoscopic (3D) illusion, nor does this design cause strain on the eyes. Currently, the effect does require 3D glasses, and there are multiple options for cost tiers, and related considerations. We are also working on a method that does not require glasses, which is another portion of our search for proper V.C.

Our illusions can also be presented in 2D, if so desired. While projection methodologies can vary, content can be visible on one, or both sides of the chosen display medium. They can also be designed to be interactive with a number of input methods as well.

Additionally, the technology is very scalable, and can be used on a stage to project imagery as high as ~15 ft (or ~5m), and as wide (without interruption on the stage) as ~150 ft (or ~50m). It can, of course, be scaled to just about anything in-between.

Since much of this illusion related to these presentations are trade secrets, #TempestDigital provides all the necessary materials and labor to execute the setup. #TempestDigital is highly protective of its illusion's presentation and related quality control.
