3 unexpected things at Google gym: 1) white Prada briefcase as gym bag, 2) green Goyard tote, also as gym bag, and 3) athletic people.

“They were quite uptight. Your average San Francisco bus — we would have gotten more of a reaction. People would clap or take pictures,” she said. “These buses, it was more like very uncomfortable.”

Could it be that it has something to do with smashed windows, spiked tires, and home-stalking?

Me: some kids don’t have mommies or daddies. They’re called orphans.
Son: Or slaves. Sometimes they’re slaves too.

If I smell good today, it's only because someone fumigated the locker room with their cologne.

Amazing (and generous) promotion from Steve Angello as part of his  #DECADE  celebration.  http://goo.gl/iUmttz

I'm confused. Thought this was supposed to be a Spanish tapas restaurant, but nothing we ordered was remotely authentic. The best item was the short ribs that tasted exactly like Korean kal-bi. Everything else was limp and seemed microwaved. Compounding the problem was very slow service and very high prices.

One of the few, good Italian places on the Peninsula. Nice presentation and wine list, but be prepared for indifferent and slow service.

Yoya has some of the most beautiful baby and kids clothes that you'll ever see. Just don't expect low prices or the warmest service.

Long ways to go before it catches up to its sister restaurant in Santana Row. Much of the food was disappointing and overly greasy. The biggest failing was in the dry aged prime rib eye. While perfectly cooked medium, the meat was tough and dry, with inedible bits of sinew uncommon in dry aged beef. Service, however, was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Hopefully, the kitchen gets its act together soon.

Fast gourmet food, but not "fast food". A great addition to the neighborhood.
