The location of this job is in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

The role is to provide first class specialist care in Internal Medicine to patients located at a number of regional areas.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Leading from the front.
Providing high quality safe inpatient, outpatient and outreach clinical services.
Initiate and partake in quality management activities, performance appraisal, personal and Departmental continuing education programs.
Ensure adequate supervision of and participation in teaching programs for junior medical staff, including advanced trainees and medical students.
Undertake Clinical Audit activities and research as appropriate.
Applicants with training in a sub-specialty area of Internal Medicine; particularly cardiovascular disease, or diabetes or respiratory disease or infectious diseases or gastroenterology with competence in endoscopy will be highly regarded.

You will be a Consultant in General Medicine with appropriate specialist qualifications. If you do not have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, then its equivalent from another country is satisfactory. Your communication skills will be first class and you will enjoy dealing with people from all walks of life and cultures in an ever changing environment.  If you have experience or an interest in indigenous health then even better - although not essential.

The Royal Darwin Hospital is a 360+ bed facility. It is the largest teaching hospital in the State and recognised as Australia's National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre. 

The Department of Surgery has specialists in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial, Orthopaedics, ENT and Opthalmic as well as visiting medical specialists to assist as required.

As well as your clinical skills you will be enthusiastic towards grad and post grad education (as well as basic and advanced training) working closely with the University.

You will have completed your specialist training in either Australia, UK, NZ, Eire, USA, Canada or South Africa. Aside from your clinical and teamwork skills, your communication skills will be first class and you will be sensitive to cross-cultural environments. 

Once we find you a job, we will help and guide you through the Australian Medical registration, RACS assessment and Australian visa process.

Position is open to UK and other International Radiologists.
Starting remuneration GBP200 – GBP225k (AU400k – AU450k)

Exceptional lifestyle location – great surf, fishing, whale watching, sailing, beaches etc.

2.5hrs drive to Byron Bay.
1hr flight to Sydney.
This #radiology   provider is one of the largest operators in Australia with over 160 clinics and a presence in each state and territory.

Their business model has helped them grow to be an immensely successful and well regarded organisation. It includes a strong belief and massive commitment to a local management structure to ensure their services are designed towards the needs of the communities.

They have a great #job  for a General/Diagnostic radiologist to work in their Coffs Harbour business, working across several clinics within the immediate region.

They have Ultrasound, CT (with a Siemens 128-slice CT Scanner), 3T MRI (3T Seimens Skyra Wide bore MRI), a full range of Xray services including OPG and Cephalometry, Nuclear Medicine, a full Mammography service with modern digital mammography, Fluoroscopy & Barium Studies and Bone Mineral Densitometry.

You will have completed your specialist training and ideally worked as a Consultant for at least 12 months.  You will be personable with first class communication skills, able to influence stakeholder at all levels. Your provision of supervision and reporting services to referrers and patients will be first class, ensuring high levels of quality and patient are adhered to at all times.

The Department of Medicine is actively involved with Infection Control, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Hospital in the Home, and outpatient clinics in general infectious diseases (including hepatitis B) and HIV.  

As Staff Specialist in Infectious Diseases your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Providing ongoing leadership in the department and the hospital, focusing on patient safety and the exceptional services.
- Delivering first class inpatient, outpatient and consultative clinical services in General Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
- Initiating and participating in quality management projects and staff professional development programs.
- Supervise and participate in teaching programs for junior medical staff, including advanced trainees and medical students.
- Participate in antimicrobial stewardship.

You will a Consultant Physician in Infectious Diseases with appropriate specialist qualifications. If you do not have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, then its equivalent from another country is satisfactory. Your communication skills will be first class and you will enjoy dealing with people from all walks of life and cultures in an ever changing environment.  If you have experience or an interest in indigenous health then even better - although not essential.

Geraldton, situated in the Midwest Region of the State is a charming coastal town some 260m (420km) south of the State's capital, Perth. Locals describe the climate as 'Mediterranean ' and the surface temperature of the sea often exceeds 25 degrees Celsius.  Geraldton offers beachside living alongside a fantastic civic and rural context. It is a major minerals port and the town has grown affluent during the mining boom. Geraldton is famous for its sailing, kite, wind and wave surfing. Culturally it is a major centre of aboriginal art and heritage.

The West Australian Country Health Service is the largest in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, delivering comprehensive health care to more than 540,000 people including 49,000 Aboriginal people across a 2.5 million square kilometre area.

The services’ hospital in Geraldton is well staffed and well resourced. It has 73 beds with 20 Consultant specialists. As well Paediatrics, units include EM, Obstetrics, Oncology, Rehab, Renal etc.

As Consultant Paediatrician you will undertake direct clinical care of paediatric patients in in-patient and outpatients settings. Further, you will support and educate relevant medical staff working with #children  and their families.

To qualify for this role you must have achieved your specialist qualifications in either Australia, New Zealand, UK, Eire, Canada, USA or South Africa and have had sound experience as a #Consultant   Paediatrician. This includes a demonstrable ability to provide acute and community paediatric services.

Applicants with experience in neonatology will be highly regarded. Applicants with experience in providing Indigenous primary health care will also be looked upon favourably.
