For #radiologists  - this is a great role just 1hr 20 minutes from #Sydney  I took this photo in the National Park close by - just after some snorkeling.

I am very busy within #radiology  here in #Australia. Please get in touch to discuss any of my #jobs   on +44 131 240 5276 or al@headmedical.com.

The Illawarra is a major lifestyle destination. It has everything - a beautiful coastline famous for its surfing, fishing, snorkeling, diving and for its marine national parks. The Southern highland regions provide the perfect contrast to the coast, offering a cooler climate, seclusion, a closeness to nature and smaller, close knit communities made up of professionals,  artisans and food producers that pepper the region. The cities of Wollongong and Shoalhaven provide the necessary infrastructure and amenities required with fantastic public and private schools. The area is within commutable distance to Sydney via car or train so the area really is unparalleled for having everything to hand. Further, house prices are significantly lower then comparable property in Sydney.

The purpose of this exciting position is to provide exceptional interventional radiological services - meeting both the needs of patients and meeting requirements of the referring clinicians. Further, you will enjoy promoting and participating in teaching and supporting the VMOs to ensure that service delivery is of the highest quality. The department itself is very busy, and the facilities are modern with world class technology and radiology work stations. You will enjoy capitalising this sophisticated context to improve clinical engagement and service delivery.

You will be a Consultant Radiologist who is eligible for or who has Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (please do call to check your eligibility). Ideally you will have Tier A skills.

You will have a strong track record in the application of quality measures and service improvement within a clinical context. Teaching and professional development will be important to you as well as a willingness to work across a range of modalities (as well as your core  interventional radiology sub-specialist interests).

For more information please get in touch for a no obligation chat.

Hi everybody,  I am very busy with #radiology   #jobs   at moment in #Australia  . To enquire about any radiological positions in Australia please email al@headmedical.com or call +44 131 240 5276.
I recruit international applicants as well as existing FRANZCR radiologists.

First off, Victoria:

Fantastic lifestyle and career opportunity in a major Victorian regional town.

With average temperatures of 30 degrees at the height of summer and 13 degrees during winter the climate in Bendigo makes it an extremely agreeable place to work.

The city promotes a lifestyle centred on the outdoors, good organic food, artisan markets, a vibrant café culture and the concept of work to live, rather than live to work. It has a population of over 100,000 and is fast growing as a satellite city of Melbourne - from where it is also only a 2hr drive - with a fast train line also linking the two.

The historic Victorian architecture that pervades the city buildings also influences much of the residential housing. The city - with a population of over 100,000 - has a country feel but with the modern city conveniences you would expect, enjoying the affluence that the mining and agricultural sectors have brought to the region. History and art have always been important to Bendigo and as such, the town has many nods to its influences over the years. It has a Chinese precinct, art galleries, theatres and at least 15 vineyards in the region to excite wine lovers.

From a sporting perspective, Bendigo has 3 Olympic sized swimming pools, a water park, skate and BMX parks, parks, reserves and many cricket ovals. There is an excellent mix of private and government schools in Bendigo and the surrounding region.

The Role

The group delivers a range of radiology services to both private and public hospitals. They facilitate this via a number of platforms from on-site reporting to teleradiology; full delivery of radiology services and equipment or hybrid arrangements. Modalities include:

CT.
Xray.
Ultrasound.
DEXA.
MRI.
Nuclear Medicine.
This role is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a radiologist who would enjoy fitting into a clinically focused team working on a mix of public and private work, covering all of the modalities above. Because of the public and private work, the remuneration is highly competitive.

For more information about this particular radiology opportunity in Australia or to explore other jobs please get in touch now.

Consultant Psychiatrists - Earn up to AU$550k (GBP£225k) + in one of the most amazing places on Earth - #Broome   #WesternAustralia
Live and work in a region of unparalleled natural beauty.
Earn GBP300k ++
Experience the fantastic Australian lifestyle.
Turquoise waters, white sands, massive gorges, rock art etc.
Unique professional challenges that will challenge and interest.
Leadership role.
Lucrative remuneration which will include gratuity payments, salary packaging, professional development etc.

Broome is an amazing place to live. Originally established as a pearling station over 130 years ago, it thrives now as an affluent tourist destination.

It is a very relaxed place with well established amenities that suit all interests.  The world famous Cable Beach is 22km long with its bright white sand, fishing and transparent sea water. Broome is perfect if you enjoy the outdoors, life and have an adventurous spirit - camping, 4WD opportunities are exceptional.

Half of Broome’s population are indigenous, with the Yawuru people the recognised Native Title holders.

The hospital has recently been modernised and is a 40 bed inpatient facility. It is the Kimberley’s Regional Resource Centre and given the size of this beautiful region (423,000㎢) with only a population of 30,000 people, the Centre services fewer people then pretty much anywhere else on the planet per square kilometre!

However, there are healthcare challenges. You will enjoy the opportunity to make a difference to both the indigenous and non-indigenous communities in the Kimberley. Providing clinical leadership, assessment, treatment, liaison and consulting services; you will undertake comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, treatment and support case management where needed.

You will either be an existing Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or have done your medical training and specialist qualification in the UK (for eligibility for Fellowship). Importantly, you will enjoy working autonomously and be comfortable within a cross cultural setting. You will be comfortable with travel through this beautiful land and the challenges that will arise covering such a setting.

In return, you will be rewarded with a lucrative remuneration package (dependent on level of experience) of AU$422k - AU$500k (approx GBP£210k - GBP£250k) plus rental, travel subsidies, retention bonuses and employer superannuation contributions of 9.5%, access to tax free salary packaging worth AU$19,999, professional development opportunities, subsidised rental accommodation, study leave/assistance AND flexible leave arrangements.

What is there not to like? Please call #AlasdairSpinner  at #HeadMedical  on 44 (0)131 240 5276 or al@headmedical.com

Head Medical has a dedicated team that will guide you through the college registration process and the relocation itself.

Radiologist - Queensland! Hi everybody,  I am very busy with #Australian #radiology   #jobs    at the moment. To talk about any of these or the medical registration process please email al@headmedical.com or call +44 131 240 5276.
I recruit international applicants as well as existing FRANZCR radiologists.

This excellent opportunity is very unusual. It offers the best of both worlds: an opportunity to live and work by the beach or the opportunity to live in a sophisticated, modern city but work in a beach side location by a marine sanctuary. The choice is yours!

Brisbane is an international city yet is still highly liveable. Traffic issues are minimal and the State government has expanded and improved the commuter train network in recent years. Brisbane has three major universities, a host of artistic venues that host the annual Brisbane festival, an international airport and a climate that is superb.

The coastal areas North of Brisbane reflect the demographic shift that has is changing the face of the East Coast in Australia. More and more people are eschewing urban living and opting for a sea change. The growth of the Sunshine Coast and its environs reflect the demand of lifestyle and good living over the rat race. In this role you will be able to enjoy travelling and/or living up and down the tropical east coast and the cooler hinterland areas.

This radiology company is an emerging presence within metropolitan and regional Queensland. It has over 15 clinics that have world class facilities and excellent referral bases. The business is strong and possibly can offer equity/partner arrangements in the future. The technical group is very collaborative in its working style and has a good mix of modalities in its skill set.

Applications from radiologists seeking to migrate to Australia are highly encouraged for this position  Despite the work location's proximity to Brisbane it is categorized as an 'Area of Need' for medical professionals. To discuss the registration process or the position in detail, please do get in touch.
